I saw a commercial about a show where teens have to take care of babies for a couple of days. There is nothing like the hands-on experience of changing diapers to change the illusion of the fun of having a baby.

I truly wish this was a criteria in schools for all teens.   Especially that they had to spend  just one  weekend taking care of babies when they wanted instead to have fun with their friends which would happen in their lives with a baby.

It would be fantastic if the mothers of these babies used were also teens and that they spent the two days with the teen boys and girls to answer questions.

Yes, boys to attend this class also, change diapers, feed and burp the babies ...

When talking doesn't work, experience can be a  wonderful teacher.

Believe it or not, we had baby care taught in my Jr. High. But nothing prepared me for the icky experience I had the first time I changed my daughters diaper! School has dropped and continues to drop the ball in any kind of social behavior education, how we should all relate to each other, and human responsiblities and respect.

Since that particular school has been on the news, it would be great if they started a program like this and it also made the news. It would also show that the school had a problem and did something about it.

I just enjoy being here on Earth - in the good times and even the not so good times. My path is to help people to understand that it is all right for everything not to be all right - and how to take care of things.Angel, the poodle, and Ruby, the cat are great teachers, as you can see from the picture. After all, they both accept humans, just as we are!
