Wild weather for Saturday will give way to a calmer, nicer Sunday.

All of the strong storms will be offshore by Sunday morning. Sunshine, a west breeze and warm temperatures will provide us with a very nice end to the weekend. The humidity will also be lower. It's possible that some cloudiness will mix in during the late afternoon but any showers that develop should stay south and east of the region. To be safe, let's not rule one out in a few isolated areas.

Sunday night will turn cooler followed by a very nice start to the work week. Monday's high will be back up around 80. Even Tuesday will be pleasantly warm with sunshine a good part of the day. Later Tuesday, expect clouds to begin increasing with a possibility of showers developing during Tuesday night.

Wednesday will be a little more humid again with the threat of showers or thunderstorms at any time. They may not be as numerous on Thursday but the possibility for one or two still exists.

The hurricane season officially starts today, June 1 but the first tropical storm of the season has formed a day early. It's named Arthur and was located near the Yucatan. It was weak as of this writing with 40 mph winds.
