I had an imaginary run in with Jeff Foxworthy the other day and asked  him why he kept subjecting himself to the embarrasing job of MCing "...Smarter than..." and he said "Yeah, it's humiliating going on that show with all them idiots, but what?  Quit?  And give up show business?"

Watching and listening to Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, and company,  I had the distinct impression they are heralding the second coming of Christ!  Funny, but I had a distinct impression he would be a white Jew, and he turns out to be a black Arab, and obviously, I'm completely disoriented.  I was also a little discomfited by this impression until I heard a news media person commenting about the arrival of the "new saviour" and the religious fervor that seems to have infused the Democrat party since they stopped fighting each other and decided to fight the Republicans or whoever else stands in their way of securing the Presidency for the second coming of Christ.

In response to Sanctus' comments,
Democracy you say?  Well if there ever was such a political state in our country, I think we have overmined it and shipped it abroad, too much to too many places where it wasn' t even needed...or wanted.

What our Congress and Executive Branch of present federal government has been reduced to is a "kakistocracy" which is almost as bad as a theocracy or a plutocracy.
But, the main difference is that in a kakistocracy, all of the political operatives are bad, the worst of the worst.  I will give you an example of what I mean.  Ask yourself, "Would I like to be a candidate for elective office, and, if elected, would I really like to be that official?"  Ask it of everyone you know and you'll be surprised that the most decent people don't want any part of politics.

In a kakistrocracy, the only people running for office are the halt, the lame and the criminally intentioned.  And if that doesn't describe our Congress and Executive Branch, then give me a better description.  I'm open to suggestion.

I work for a building maintenance company and I have an awful lot of heavy floor mopping to do and most of the commercial mop heads aren't big enough to do a good job. So, when I saw Wendy Williams with the enormous mophead she wears, I felt I'd like to ask someone where I could buy some mopheads like hers.  Would the people at MyFox know anything about this?  I'd appreciate an answer if there is one.

The Democrat Convention should be a real humdinger of a spectacle this time around. Hillary Rodham Clinton has not given up. The Press has worn out itself on Barack Hussein bin Obama and the delegates are all worried sick that they don't have a chance in hell of winning come November with the multi ethnic candidate they seem to have chosen.

Fact of the actual matter is that the reason Obama won was not on his virtues, but as a protest against the candidacy of Mrs. Clinton who is hated equally by half the Democrat population and adored equally by the other half. The press had a field day with his candidacy as he was a new and slightly different species from the usual run of the mill candidate, sort of like a new species of frog.

I predict a down-to-the-wire battle for the nomination and Mr. Obama is going to be the most surprised person in the convention center when he finds out he is not the shoo in he supposed himself to be.

Democracy in action; sure it stinks to high heaven, but that's the price we have to pay to live in such a unique, un-Godly political system.

Froggie-de-bleu

"Froggie-de-bleu" is the nom de blog-guerre of Michel Yquem le Savarin, E. F., painter who was forced to suspend his NYC studio because of failing health. His new series of paintings, labeled 2nd Edition, Volumes I, II, III, IV, et al, signals his long-awaited return to the art scene. Of his return it has been said, "The trauma of life has not diminished Savarin; his work is as dynamic and enjoyable, even more so, than it was before." Savarin adds, "In this age of mechanical and computer-enhanced artistic presentations, my work will continue to represent the simple truths of human life, love and the value of dependence upon faith, family and the simple pleasures of existence." "E. F." at the end of Savarin's signature is in memory of his first agent, the late Emile Franken, a Dutch emigre survivor of a Nazi concentration camp, who turned down Willem de Kooning in favor of handling the work of Michel le Savarin.
