Cowboys and Yankees have the title in common along with an owner who wants to win instantly by buying superstar talent; has not worked too well in either organiztion. Not only do they not perform well together, they don't have the leadership, discipline and coaching to make it work and harness the talent to perform as a team.
Jerry's rehab program worked pretty good for Tank and Terrel but I cannot believe he did not take the oportunity to get rid of "Pac man" Jones; he is the poorest excuse of a player but you have to give him credit for his consistency - he is guaranteed to fumble and give up the "big" plays.
It's time for Terrel to move on; he is a great athlete but thinks the team revolves around him and causes division in the locker room.
It's time to clean house ; So long Terrel, Adam Jones-just complete your destiny and go to jail. Wade Phillips can stay if it's in a lower capacity (defensive coach ?). Romo-restructure the contract to an incentive based contract; he gets paid for how well he performs which means he would owe money this year-maybe Jessica Simpson should give him incentive affection-this years performance would mean he would be lucky to earn a kiss.
I know this would never happen, but if Jerry Jones could ever swallow his pride, pay Jimmy Johnson $30 million to come back and build a championship team again and (Jerry) promise to keep his nose out of coaching and just reap the rewards of a winning franchise, again.
There was NO fire or heart in the Cowboy's last few games; I guarantee I could coach the team to a championship status before the the staff he currently has-as a strategist and efficiency expert, it's easy to see the route that needs to be taken. If I can call every play before it happens while watching the game on television, it had to be a "cake walk" for the opposing teams; on first down I wonder what they are going to do-run it up the middle or run it up the middle, or maybe, run it up the middle. Ray Lewis commented on the Cowboy's simplistic scheme and he was calling plays on the field for what he knew they were fixing to run.
On another note, who in the world got Brad Johnson for the back up quarter back; when Romo hurt his back a few games ago and someone said he remarked to Johnson to warm up, I could vision another Charles Bronson movie evolving, "Death Wish 3". I would put Garret in a uniform before putting Johnson on the field; are they trying to lose on purpose?
I will always be a Cowboy's fan but I am glad they lost last week so we don't have to experience another depressing Sunday/Monday after their effortless participation; the loss was basically a "mercy killing" and is making them take a look in the mirror a little quicker.
I believe insanity is described as doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results...
What a way to end the legacy of Texas Stadium - you allow the opposing team to set records at the expense of the Cowboy's pathetic performance and you embarass the former players who played the game for the "thrill' of the game. At least the players and coaches will never forget that game because it will be instilled in the history of the last game at Texas Stadium.
Jerry, please make the right decisions - if you don't know what they are, call me...........

Jimmy Johnson was criticized for being hard on the players, yet they won 2 Super Bowls. Barry Splitzer comes in and the party begins and it starts with a bridge piller on I-635 reading "Cowboy's Parking" courtesy of Eric Williams. The Cowboy's went no where that year and won the next Super Bowl off the coat tails of Jimmy Johnson's creation. Even though these players are adults, the coach has to exert rules as a parent does to a child. Being a friend comes second to being a leader. Even Nate Newton stated "Jimmy Johnson was mean and Switzer let us do what we wanted".
If Jimmy Johnson or any "coach of discipline" where the current coach, NO one would have taken a vacation UNTIL the season was over.
Romo has stayed "somewhat" grounded through all of the money and publicity but his trip affected the continuity of the team. If the players cannot make the right decisions, the coach should step up and make the decision for them. If the coach does not know the proper balance of authority/aggressiveness to gentleness, he needs to lean on the side of aggressiveness.
The Cowboy's need a speed/precision running back to compliment the power house back, Barber. Julious Jones is like a Nun and 7-up; never had it and never will.
Romo is not responsible for the Seatle fumble in 06 because he should not have been in the position of quaterback and holder, he barely had time to catch his breath before the ball came to him-too much pressure !
Romo does get credit for this seasons catastrophy-if you are the leader and don't take the game seriously enough to maintain 110% focus, why should your deciples; follow the leader...!
Cowboy's are still America's team but if they took the game as seriously as their fans, they would still be in the hunt for the Super Bowl...!

Hey saggin dude, pull your pants up..!
It's bad enough that someones crotch is hanging down to their knees, when they walk around, they have their hands on their crotch to keep their pants from falling to their ankles-that's obscene... Even though it's not totally right, you are judged by how you look; so drop your pants, grab your crotch, wash your hair once a month, add some more ear rings and tattoos and wonder why the world looks down on you. The only statement the saggers are making is they are lazy, irresponsible and have no contributions to make to society.
Take some pride in what you do and what you wear and maybe your parents will claim they have children that are still living.........

How is popularity and leadership judged...? U.S. citizens and opponents against President Bush are stating "look how low his popularity rating is" ; if you judge our President by this rating, is this method somewhat of a child mentality.? I would bet if you polled all 1st through 12th grade students and asked them their opinion of their teachers and principals, the teachers and principals ratings would probably be comparable to President Bush. The teachers and principals are doing their jobs by educating and training our kids for the future. If you polled all criminals and asked them how popular cops and judges are to them, I bet it would be considerably lower than President Bush's.; the cops and judges are doing their jobs even though it's not very popular. President Bush is doing his job and protecting our counrtry regardless of what is popular with us and other countries. If you are against this President and don't believe he is doing the right thing, what would you have done after 9/11 based on your knowledge and intell...?

Over the last week, several religions have been discussed. I'm sincerely ready for a lesson. What's the difference between Jehovas Witness, Moormans, Pentecostal, Methodist, Baptist; do they believe the same as far as the path to Heaven.? I was raised a Baptist and have never ventured outside of the Baptist-I have never researched what's going on outside the arena. I definitely am not looking to switch, just curious about how the other religions, faiths, denominations view life and how/if their pathways cross. So, how / what / when / where / why ; please enlighten...............

Friday's news showed an inmate on death row for 16 years is fixing to be executed, with a joke to be read as his last words; if the case is 100% cut and dry guilty (no doubts/DNA.?), why does the inmate sit on death row for 15+ years especially when it costs about 125 thousand + - dollars per year to house each crimnal. It appears that 1.5 million dollars of tax payer's money is wasted ,needlessly. What is the reason for such a long gap from sentencing to fullfilling the sentence.? Do they figure there is a good chance the prisoner will die of some other cause in that time period.?

I was raised with the "switch, hand, spanking, belt " method. Although I did not like it, I typically deserved it and I new better than to do it again. I hear more and more everyday about how parents have no control over their kids, the kids don't mind, the kids are committing suicide and I hear parents say what am I going to do. You cannot start raising your kids when they become teenagers, it starts at a very early age and of course the right form of discipline. Maybe a combination of "time out along with the belt".? Parents are so fearful of their kids not liking them, they are so anxious to be their friends, they wind up being their kids worst enemy which leads to the kids demise. I think the worst nightmare for a parent is for their child to lose their life because of the parents neglect to properly guide and raise the child; even worse is if the child has no home in Heaven. I am definitely no expert on kids but I do have common sense...I bet with the variety of bloggers on this site and with the variations of lifestyles and ages, there is a lot of advice and wisdom to be offerred.

A stategy of blogging is to have a point and NOT go overboard on the comment. Diarrhea of the mouth / keyboard (excessive wordiness) hits its peak at about 2 paragraphs and begins its decline at about 3 paragraphs. If a blog is multiple paragraphs and goes on and on and on and on and on (get the point), you loose about 80% of your readers; I just go to the next blog. I'm not saying it's not interesting, just too lengthy for normal blogging. Another strategy is diplomacy and minding "the rules of the road"; playing fairly with others. We talk about "sticks and stones" and sometimes we don't "practice what we preach", including myself. So, play nice and get to the point..........!

I was watching Montel Williams this morning on another talk show and he was talking about the uses and benefits of medicinal marijuana; he made a valid enough point to where I see and agree with his point of view. The use of MM to help in various circumstances to alleviate discomforts from chemo, glaucoma and other scenarios appears an effective substitute for medicinal cocaine or morphene. Don't get me wrong, I only agree with legalization for legitimate medicinal purpose only. He also stated MM has been around for this use since 1939 but lobbyist have kept it off the market, I guess it's too cheap and the drug companies cannot sell it for 10,000% profit.

Time Warner has shut my system down (twice) for supposably unwanted activity to another computer. A lengthy 2 language message comes up and all internet activity is stopped. The message reads "illegal activity" or something simiiar. It leaves a number to call with a recorded message which is indicative this situation happens a lot and it says you have to clean/purge your system. You cannot talk to anyone in person to find out what they mean by "unwanted activity".
What in the world does this mean ; has this happened to anyone else.?
It seems like they are doing everything possible to make us explore other services...

I just got back from an assignment and came in contact with various habitants from the East and West Coast along with other hurricane, earthquake and flood prone regions. I never got a clear, definitive answer as to why people live in territories where they know another hurricane, flood or earthquake is coming, they just don't know the exact time. Most of the people have been hit several times and just rebuild after the disaster. In a lot of countries, the habitants have no choice but to live in these types of situations but you wonder why sane people with a choice, choose to tempt fate and death, knowing tragedy is inevitable and is heading their way.
Are the coast and fault lines so attractive and desireable that they are worth the risk ?

Just saw the Vigra commercial again for the 1000th time and I am still curious. When they say if you experience an erection for more than 4 hours, please contact your doctor; are they saying that out of genuine sincerity and concern or is that a backwards message to guys of what they can achieve ?

That's Enough about racism. The more it is referred too, the more the hatred "cancer" is growing. SO, who has the courage and will power to stop. If someone post another article about racism, please don't respond , or, say something smart and encouraging. The more gasoline you throw on a fire, the larger the fire grows.
The continued coverage is turning more and more people against each other. Pretend you are blind so you only see the heart of the person from hearing them speak.
We are all Americans. Some don't want to admit or acknowledge the fact ; we are all children of God. Again, if we quit fueling the fire, the flames will slowly die down and the issue will fade into the sunset. We cannot control what others do or say ; we can control what we do and say.

Another pit bull story; family dog attacks child.
This story is too common. It does not necessarily pertain to a specific breed of animal and I know it typically is not the breed of the animal but how it is raised that determines the animals disposition. No matter what, it is pure negligence for an animal to be able to attack a child. The dog should not be left alone with the child or should not be part of the family, period.
If a situation arises where a child or anyone is attacked from a known , aggressive dog(breed), the owner should be held liable as if they commited the act themselves.
