Welcome to NYC  Soccer Guy!!  Where are you living?

Wow has it been 2 months, time goes by fast.  I'm glad we can make you laugh so early in the morning.

I went to see 21 this weekend?  Anyone see it?  Opinions?  I liked it.  The History channel has done a show on it so I already knew a little about it.  Though I wonder if they changed the story a bit for entertainment purposes.

Ladies out there I need some help.  Looking for spring clothes, and I was at the Willowbrook and Garden State Mall and found nothing.  I bought sneakers, but clothing wise nothing to appealing.  Is it just me or is everything out right now not that appealing??

Hey Ines.
I "discovered" you about 3 months ago when I started working overnights and would turn on FOX after getting home. I became a big fan immediately and have to thank you for all the sweet dreams I had after going to sleep after watching you. You are smart, funny and yes, incredibly beautiful. The FOX morning show is very entertaining. You originally came across as kind of shy and reserved but I have noticed you seem to be "coming out of your shell" and have become more outgoing lately. Keep it up, you are going to be a big star in TV Land. I found this site when I was searching another site that posts pics of you. I was hoping to get another look at today's "naughty librarian" look, very appealing!!! I didn't see 21 but it looks good and I don't know too much about the NJ malls but know that Long Island malls have lots of stuff that you might like, I have daughters about your age and a little younger that spend lots of money there!!!
Take care and good luck.

They definately changed the story a lot for the movie. I read an interview with the guy who the character was based on. A couple of things: They changed his race, he says they lost a lot of the time (their method only changed the odds to favor them over the house by a few percentage points) and no one was being beaten up by security.

I haven't seen 21 yet. That's the movie about counting cards, right? Luke, when I was a full time musician, I met a guitar player who won a ton of money that way....He was banned from the casino for life, as both a player and a musician! Not only did they break his nose, but they dislocated his shoulder also. They claimed that they had nothing to do with it! Yeah, right!! He said it was a small price to pay...He did keet ALL the money though!
Ines, I have to agree with your fan...You are a great addition to "FOX'S FOXES" and i'm glad you losened up. You're layback, cool, funny, and foxy to boot! I hope you keep blogging!

As for your other problem. Have ya SEEN all the shops in the city?? My wife has and I've got the bills to prove it! Like it or not....you're a NEW YORKER NOW! Take out your credit card and "CHARGE!!"

Thanks IR fan atleast one of us is having pleasant dreams. I can't remember mine lately. I've heard good things about Long Island malls, Reid always talks about the Roosevelt Field Mall. Thanks for the Input.

Thanks Luke! The part about them being beat up seemed out of line. And the face recognition software was put into the plot for the sake in the movie right? That technology is very recent.

Yes Bigbadbob, its the one about counting cards. I hope your friend is doing ok these days. Bob I love being a New Yorker, though I've lived in North New Jersey all my life and proud of it, I consider myself to be a New Yorker. And I have seen the shops in NYC, especially the ones along 5th Ave and So BLEEP...trouble!!! Do you tell your wife to take the credit card and charge too?!?! I hope I marry I guy like you.

I haven't seen 21 yet but I'm familiar with the story.Mrs.Movieman and I make regular trips to Atlantic City and Las Vagas. It's a never-ending cat-and-mouse game. The casinoes and the crooks are always trying to out-do each other.

Ines,
I was trying to figure out how to edit my first post to include the names of the malls I was talking about (Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City and The Source Mall in Westbury) which explains my mysterious second post - "c". The really great thing about the two malls I named, beside having lots of things I am sure you will like, is that they are about 10 minutes from each other, really convenient for hitting a wide variety of stores in a single day. I can skip my workout when I go shopping with my daughters or other young ladies since I end up carrying lots of heavy shopping bags for hours. Also, there are some very nice restaurants nearby and the Cheesecake Factory restaurant is right at The Source Mall. It is very popular and a fun place and the food is good.
About the pleasant dreams, are you not having them or are you just having trouble remembering them? One so lovely should only have wonderful dreams. Try to remember them as soon as you wake up or they tend to fade from your memory. What time do you go to sleep and wake up? Are you used to "very early" hours?
Still haven't seen 21 but I will soon.
I know it is probably a pain but try to post more often, your fans would love to hear what you are thinking about or what you are up to.
Stay sweet.
Have a nice day.

Hello there Ines, and thank you very much... glad to be here. Although I'm still getting used to the city life, quite a change from VA to NY metro. I was staying in hoboken for a while, but now that my office moved to Basking Ridge.... guess what.. looking for a new place to live closer to work haha... The commute right now kinda sucks.
And of course, one can always use a good wakeup laugh.... specially when I'm feeling so lazy early in the morning...
I have seen the history channel special on 21 as well.. have not seen the movie yet, but from what i heard it is a good movie... it's bee #1 for a couple weeks right?

hope u have a great rest of the week.

Hi Ines,

Unfortunately, I don't get to see you every morning like everyone else here. But you are too cute so I had to look you up and here you are on a blog! How is the love life these days? I am sure you don't have any problems. Any interest in a 26 year old architect? haha

Ciao

Thanks Sanctus, indeed Happy Friday!!!

Movieman, you're right it's a big game, and Casino's always win. Can't be the system, but doesn't hurt to try. Now I want to go to AC and have some fun!

IR_fan, you are tempting me to go to the malls. You are so nice to go shopping with your daughters and holding their bags. My dad is the same way. As far as my dreams, I just don't remember them. I'm pretty much use to the early hours I've been doing them 4 years. Only thing is that sometimes there are days when you are just extra tired.

Soccerguy you have a long drive!! I love Hoboken, great dining there. Atleast you get to enjoy that for now.

Architect, you are missing out on all the fun!!! Life is very good thank you very much, in all aspects. Hopefully the same for you.

Have a great weekend to all of you and Go Devils!!! (Sorry Rangers, have to go with the Devils first)

Ines, in response to your post on April 7th about asking lady's for nice clothes for spring... I would try the "Guess" clothing line. I'm no lady, but check their clothing out and you'll see what I'm talking about. It might not be the type of clothes you'd wear while reporting traffic on Fox, but it might be what you're looking for to fill your wardrobe for other occasions. They have a website, but I would definitely check the store itself out, I think the clothing line would look great on you. Come to think about it... what wouldn't look great on you!

Hey Ines.

You are doing just fine with your clothes. You looked SO pretty and SO slim in that sweater top today, very nice !!! You must be a size 0. You have a figure that would make anything look good. (see pic from this morning)

Any significance to that necklace or do you just like the way it looks?, it's pretty.

Tonight is a big night for the Devils, if they win they have a real chance to win the series but if they lose it will be very tough. I am an Islanders fan, so, of course, I am rooting against the Rangers. Viva, La Diabla !!!

Still haven't seen 21 but I will. That happens a lot when you don't go to a movie the first weekend it comes out, you just keep putting it off.

Hang in there, I think it is finally going to get warmer.

Stay sweet and take care.

JOHHBNYC...I looooooove Guess. And you are right most of the clothes there aren't work appropriate. But I do find stuff there on occassion. Actually Guess has a new store line called G by Guess, there are a few stores in the area, the one I went to is at Paramus Park. According to the sales guy the store is aimed educating the Ambercrombie crowd how to dress and make it more work friendly as well as affordable. The price point is lower the Guess and Marciano. Devils lost yesterday :( we'll see what happens tomorrow.

IR_FAN, I'm thinking you are asking about the heart necklace. Well you know how some girls like things like Dolphins, kittens, stars, suns, well I have a thing with hearts. And my best friend gave that to me a while ago.

Ines...wait a minute, you said that the Guess store is aimed at educating the abercrombie crowd on how to dress? I assume they're trying to steal the abercrombie crowd somehow--shouldn't be too hard. I never really cared to much for abercrombie clothing... way too expensive to pull off the wannabe surfer look. Guess is by no means inexpensive but at least the clothing looks the part.
Ines you should try Express for woman as well. I used to shop at Structure religiously before it became Express for men. But now it's just way to expensive and "plain Jane" for me.
I know you mentioned the Devils... hopefully for you they'll win the next game, Football is my sport! TTYL

JohnBNYC - I should of emphasized better that the sales guy at the Guess store said that about the Ambercrombie crowd. I don't really shop there either, too casual. You said the magic words with Express...If you looked at my wardrobe the majority says Express and Limited, my credit card bill even worst where I had to keep myself from going to the mall for a month and hide the credit card. Express Men has nice stuff, but you are right sometimes to expensive for simple stuff..that's why you have to go for the sales!

But thanks for the guidance, love all the input!

Ines, I figured Express would be your Achilles heel because their clothing is probably the most appropriate for business attire/casual dress up. While Guess is more Friday/Saturday night hit the bar or club type of clothing...although I am able to pull it off on the casual side on occasion.
I'm actually the same way with the credit card, but I've gotten better. It got to the point that I couldn't even walk into Guess casually, without getting tagged for $200. I think the credit card makes me feel less guilty about spending money somehow.
Then I discovered the website, which had an even larger selection then the store itself, and I got into some serious spending there. But Ines, you're right you have to go for the sales... only problem is, in Guess a sale isn't really much of a sale! ;-)

Good morning Nena.
I'm not sure if this thread is still alive so I will also post it in the most recent thread as well.
Finally saw "21" on Saturday night. It was GOOD, very entertaining, very involving but just a little too slick and hard to believe.
Sorry about the Devils, maybe next season.
Did you get your eyebrows done? They look a little lighter or thinner this morning or maybe it's just my TV. Nice sweater top, you look very sleek again today. I wasn't crazy about that yellow top on Friday, the color was nice on you but the puffy shoulders didn't suit you, just my opinion, maybe others liked it.
My daughters love hearts as well and they also favor crosses and peace-signs.
NY survived the Pope traffic!!!! Thanks from everybody in the NY area.
Be good and take care.
