Thanks for the heads up Ines. That covers just about all of the major highways in that area. Guess its best to stay home if you can, lol. Are you working overtime today, or is an assistant taking care of things for you until tomorrow...hopefully the second. Take care!!!

Bobby that's a good question about the missing mahhole covers. I've wondered the same thing. Maybe they come off??? I wish I knew where that highway with no brakes is, i guess that's why its called the lost highway. I did like I-Fox, it's very traffic. As in keep an Eye on the roads.

Sorry Guys for being MIA, and thanks for your patience.

Ines, as long as theres no missing manhole covers on the lost highway, we'll be in good shape! And I-Fox is very traffic..but are you saying to keep an eye on the roads, or can I keep an eye on the fox? : ) An eye for "I"!! Don't work too hard!!!

While you guys are looking for the manhole covers I wanna know where the rocks are where all the Watch out for fallen rocks signs are on the interstates.

Movieman LOL!! That is so true about the rocks. So we have to look up and down. The animal crossing signs atleast are right. I find a lot of Canadian Geese crossing the road, and the worst part is that they don't know where they are going!!! Lucky for the ducks do. Though from a traffic perspective I have heard of delays because of turkeys, dogs, goats, turtles. I'm sure I'm forgetting other strange things. Atleast we don't have the Alligator signs that Florida does.

I can agree with the Alligator signs. But the problem I have is sweeping up AFTER the Canadian Geese in the park I work at cause we're on the water.

People get mad at those Canadian Geese!!! I was behind 2 cars once and we all stopped to let the geese cross, or stand in the middle of the road it seemed, and the car in the middle didn’t want to wait and was ready to fight the guy in the car in front. He wound up passing him and parting the geese like the Red Sea. What about the deer signs that look like reindeer flying?? I never got that one.

Hey, Ines! I just wanted to add that in addition to the street closures you mentioned from 6th Avenue to Broadway, the NFL Show caused some of the worst gridlock I've seen on Park Avenue on the westbound streets south of 65th. People in their cars were screaming and cursing at the poor traffic cop on 62nd and Park this morning when he wouldn't let them block traffic. Ironically, one block north on 66th, the gridlock was so bad, people were stuck in all directions for a long time. They had huge screens set up on 59th along the park all the way to fifth avenue and about half the police force was standing around watching tourists snap photos of the melee. It was pretty chaotic and didn't seem like a good event to have during a business day, especially in midtown by the park. It also didn't have anything to do with football or the NFL although there were a few wardrobe malfunctions!

Hi Ines,
I don't know much about these traffic routes since I live outside the city. If I was in the city I would just take the subway. I used to take the subway to Yankee games and I liked it because the cars used to rock side to side making it fun. Kind of reminded me of the earthquakes in California. I was just wondering if you have some secret traffic routes you keep to yourself in case you must get somewhere fast without being noticed?

Daniel I was caught in that NFL Show traffic too. But I didn't see the people screaming. It was just crazy, and I was only trying to cross the park. I feel bad for the traffic cops they were trying to keep things moving. Wardrobe malfunctions????

Scott no secret routes for me. I leave the station and cross the park like everyone else, thru the Lincoln Tunnel and on to Rte 3. But of course I do try to avoid tie-ups. I don't like sitting in traffic, so when I see the delays I try to get off fast. I have no patience.

Yeah, I feel bad for them too. It was really a mess. As for the wardrobe malfunction...one guy fell crossing 59th as his jeans fell down around his ankles. It was actually kind of funny since he did not get hurt. He was last seen heading north on 5th Avenue holding his jeans up with his hands. he looked pretty embarrassed.

Why didn't he just take that extra 30 seconds and fasten his pants?

Hey Ines. They said this morning that you're weren't feeling well today. Hope everything is ok, and you get well soon. My mornings definitely aren't the same without seeing you. I almost got lost going to work and its only 2 blocks from where I live. Rest up this weekend, and hope you feel better.

I don't know about you girl. I was feeling bad that you were sick and Mike told me that the rumor was you were cutting class and going to the beach…either way I'll still be thinking about you and hope you're weekend is ok. If Mike is lying, tell him he's got trouble. ;)

Sanctus sorry I just read your message until now. That is pretty funny about the guy and his jeans. Of course he got hurt it would not be funny. You should of given him your belt. Reminds me of the VMA's last weekend. Lil Wayne was performing and his pants were half way down his butt. Too much underwear action for me. Bobby 30 seconds??? You are asking for a lot there.

Thank you Scott, I try to be!

Bobby, thanks for the well wishes. And Mike lied to you!!! I should of gone to the beach on Sunday but I was busy at home. Thanks for the cookies, they were good, and I gave Mike too. He was kind enough to share with his producer.

Ines, I still can't figure out how guys like Lil Wayne can rock the pants down to their thighs look without them falling completely down. You have to tell Mike he's got trouble with your bodyguard for lying about Friday and trying to get you in trouble. Sunday wouldve been great for the beach, but I hear ya about the stuff at home. And of course you're welcome for the cookies. I hope they were ok. I'd love to get together sometime if youre out and about in Jersey, let me know. Hopr you're feeling better and have a great week!

Good morning folks. Ines and Bobby...the funniest thing?? The guy had a belt! I forgot to mention that he was looking up at the big screens while crossing the street, so I guess he forgot to hold his pants up!
