As a Trucker of 10+ years, it was laughable yesterday to see a fellow trucker on the Fox Business Channel acting as if he were dictating a dialouge in a third grade play.
First he stated that Truckers need Gov't intervention into the problem of Rising Fuel Costs, then when Covuto asked him what actions he'd like see come to pass to help ease the burden on Truckers in America, he replies...We need to get the Gov't out of our Lives and take our country back.
Well Mr. Truck Driver. Which would you like?

I feel this was a completly wasted opportunity to adress the general public and raise important issues, but instead, this Hillbilly had nothing to say. What a Waste of Precious airtime. Good Going...Good Buddy!!!
I heard today that a massive manhunt is out for a red landscaping truck that dislodged a 3lb stone killing a woman behind it. Why would the driver of that truck be held responsible for her death. If anyone is to blame it is the politicians who spend the taxpayers money on vacations and business meetings outside of NY or the town in expensive vacation spots and expensive hotels rather than using public meeting rooms or spending ALL that money on ROAD REPAIR!!! Maybe if the roads were not in shambles stones would not have the force to be thrown from a vehicle. I guarantee you there are laws stating that drivers in front of you are not responsible for objects thrown from road...and if this HOMICIDE detective had a side construction co. he would be putting the lid on this immediatly...HOMICIDE DETECTIVE??? FOR A STONE...Does long Island not have larger problems??? FIX YOUR ROADS AND STOP FLYING TO THE ISLANDS EVERY YEAR ON OUR MONEY!!!
