What a great life. I can finally express my own words and someone will actually hear (read) them. I am sick and tired of listening to our so called democratic leaders carping and whining about everything. Thank God Fox News is on. They may lean a touch to the right but that's because there are 150 channels 100% Bush and republican haters. Forget new papers, no one believes or even buys one anymore because you can't trust them. Fox gives both sides of the story and do it with style. If anyone from the democratic party reads this, please don't say "the American people are sick and tired of Bush" because I am an American and I don't feel that way. So please don't talk for me. This country is on very sound economic footing, we are securing borders and our fighting for freedom also has a little fighting for revenge in it. I think our fighting men and women still remember 9/11 quite well and they know terrorists were involved. They were involved then and they are involved now. If the democrats get power, in a few years we will be afraid to go to a movie theater or a mall for fear of being blown up. Thank you Fox News and Fox Cable for giving the American people a true option to watching the news of the day. God Bless the President, and God Bless America..........JohnnyM

Sometimes I wonder if Archie Bunker has not left a deep dent in some folks' ways of reasoning...I remember, back in the Nixon years, a friend of mine who was upset when I told him that I had just purchased a short wave radio...In his opinion, a short wave radio was a bad thing to own in America, because it may convey other people's opinions to us (sic). Can you believe that? Although I didn't owe my friend any explanation on my own decision to buy whatever I wanted to, I told him that the short wave radion was a way I could use to practice foreign languages, to wich he replied (as would Archie Bunker), that we should stick to English, because it is unamerican to do otherwise.

He never spoke to me again after I replied to him that only BBC of London could really teach true English...(That doesn't imply that I sing God Saves the Queen, instead of God bless America).
By the way, singing "God bless America" is beautiful, and even moving to shed tears, yet it shoud never be used as a weapon to clobber Democrats, who are also americans, in case you didn't know it.

Good day...(Wow!)

You know I respect your opinion, but just give me this question. If George Bush was to have been found receiving oral sex from a young girl half his age, would his presidency have survived? I really don't think so, so when you call democrats also Americans, I really, really wonder. And a good day to you too.

Dear Sir,

Have you noticed that I chose do dig up a fictional character from “All in the Family”, my favorite old sitcom, Archie Bunker, who else? Well, the reason is that I always avoid pointing my index finger at anyone in real life, for it is not at all like me to offend people.

Unless I am wrong, to me your blog did not reflect in any way the spirit of Fox5, where I always see smiles, rather than frawns. I had then posted a comment (which is in perfect agreement with this rule, that all members may express their views, as long as it is done with tolerance). Alas, your reply to my comment indicates that you took it personally, which I really regret, for I have been exchanging points of view with many members, not necessarily agreeing with each other, but with the ability to maintain a healthy dialog.

Meantime, if you must know, I only have great respect for the President, as well as his predecessor, especially that President Bush never feels too proud to ask, whenever he’d need a hand, former President Clinton, or his own father, or both former Chiefs of States, for advise whenever called for. This is of course a noble attitude, yet perhaps beyond comprehension by either the supporters or opponents, while those are busy spitting their venom at each other.

One more thing before I sign off; I don’t think the President would appreciate it if he saw his name associated with that unfortunate episode you have managed to bring back to light, which could only serve the purpose of those who can’t wait to ridicule and disrespect the USA, and at the same time,

Dear Sir,

harm the White House, whoever the President might be at the time.

Finally, I saw in a quick overview of your avatar, that you believe in God. Well, although it is irrelevant to our correspondence, we are Roman Catholics. My wife and I have been married since April of 1970, and we have three beautiful, and very smart children. I am a retired confectioner (Candy maker), and that alone will never qualify me to be bitter. So, no hard feeling?

Thank you Sir, for your comment, and good afternoon.

Thank you again for trying to shed light upon my criticism of the democratic leadership. Once again I would pose that question to you because you sir have not supplies and answer. No way does a sitting republican President come out unscathed if caught in that act. We are a party of principles and therefore we are expected to keep our moral indifference at zero tolerance. Democrats can do anything they want and skate as the democratic gentleman who had sex with a minor, got three standing ovations on the floor and got re-elected for another term. I don't think my President would mind my analogy if you would answer the question. The folks at FOX News are always smiling and happy because they are fair and balanced. The main reason I watch them, for myself sir, I am just fair. I take a commonsensical view of life. I was not trashing President Clinton for his actions, I was trashing the democrats who did nothing about it but shrug it off as "Oh Well". That sir is UN-American. By the way, no hard feelings here, and I am very happy that your life is one of peace and calm.

Thank you for the time and patience, but now that you and I are resuming our chat, I may surprise you when I tell you that I have never condoned that lowly episode involving a President in office at the White House, and a young lady who was young enough to be my daughter. I am really appalled then, and still now, by the mere fact that this sort of thing could have really occurred at all, and mind you that it didn’t matter to me whether the President were Democrat or not. What I tried to say to you earlier today, is that the White House cannot afford to bring a scandal that was already buried, back to light. What will always remain a mystery to me, is how he ended up finding himself off the hook, in spite of Mister Starr’s watchful team of top-notch prosecutors. Finally, when I got to watch on TV the arrival, under police escort, of dozens and dozens of cartons. all containing the evidences he (Mr. Starr) had subpoenaed against Mr. Clinton, it had seemed certain that it would only be a matter of weeks before the impeachment procedure would begin, and he would have found himself no other recourse but to step down on his own accord. That did not happen however, yet I can’t see how his fellow-democrats could have “cut him loose”…

Perhaps you haven’t read my earlier series of blogs on the infamous Chavez, especially the one where I had compared his arrogant intervention at the UN, disrespecting the President (while in US Soil!), to Krutchev’s arrogance, back in the early Sixties, during the Missiles Crisis in Cuba, and equally inside the UN. He (Krutchev) had then take

n off his shoe and hammered his desk top, with the heal, thinking that he could intimidate the then US ambassador to the UN…Two days later, however, the whole Russian fleet that had been on stand-by off shore, was ordered from Moscow to make a pitiful U-turn, taking Krutchev back home, where he was to be disgraced.

Anyway, what precedes could tell anyone that I am indeed very supportive of the President.

I think I’ll say good night now, because it is late (rather early): 12:17AM!)

See you again?
