I am awaiting for the cold, the snow the quietness in the air. I was born in the Summer time, but I love the winters. I love the change in seasons. I love NY. So I am waiting for the snow waiting for the chiil in the air...I am waiting on Winter.

It doesn't matter the slanted news reporting or the rude political ads. What is important and paramount is voting, now, voting early, voting...
Much like the weather, we take what comes, but have to be responsible for always looking for the silver lining in that cloud, looking for the sunshine after the rain, smelling the clean freshness after a snow fall, gaining comfort from snuggling on a brisk and cold day and the opportunity to take all our clothes off in the heat. It doesn't matter how the weather comes, we keep a watchful eye and be prepared.
For me this election is a wrap. I see what is coming and I am prepared to deal with the potential storm coming my way. I have decided the course and the right road to travel. I have taken off my boots and am readying to walk a long and steady road to national recovery. The road is paved with intelligence, faith, sincerity and a new and commanding way of CHANGE. I have no need for an umbrella, when I do not see the prospect of a thunderstorm ...a few rain drop is ok for me. How about you?

I am an easy going kind of person. I love to laugh. I love life. I learned that from my parents who only wanted joy for their children.

One thing I loved most in this world was my mother, Betty "Boo" Moore. She left me this week, passing from this life into glory. She loved her children, POKENO, shrimps, cooking shows, parties and weathermen, especially Fox NY's Mike Woods. She always said, "boy can he dance". He made her smile and she made me grin. It rained this past Friday when we laid her to rest and I knew she would have worried about her hair, driving conditions and why didn't Mike say to bring an umbrella?

Born April 12 1934 she sunset at 74 years old on July 19th. My mother was the absolute life of the party. A beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit. Gone too soon. Will miss you much. Love you always . . .

We live life expecting the difficult, anticipating problems and seeing our future uncertain. Would it not be grand to flip that perspective and see life as the adventure, anticipate success' and expecting the most delightful outcomes we can imagine. Kind of like the weather, even in the rain we still see the flowers grow, the acquifers replenished and all our problems washed down the drain...

I am a tried and true NYer and there is nothing I like better than a white Christmas. I hate the cold, I hate the slush, I hate digging out my car, I hate road salt and deicer... but I love snow, fluffy white stuff and the quiet it brings when it first falls. I'll stand outdoors, just looking, looking at the moon light bounce off the glistening snow; looking at the kids making snow angels on the frozen grass, looking at some dog pee on a fluffy mound; or a sanitation truck push piles of gray snow up on cars and bury them three feet deep, or until the "splat" of my niece and nephew's snow ball hits me upside the head. It's on now!. I love NYC snow and I am dreaming of a white Christmas this year.

I thought i was a Summer person, always out in the heat, doing something, riding my bike or playing tennis. As I grow older I realize there are stationary bikes and indoor tennis courts. I no longer crave the heat and sweat rolling down my brow. I have an appreciation for cooler weather, for hoodies and sweaters, for hiking and long walks with cool breezes upon my face.
Am I appreciating life more or ...just getting old?.
