all in all, this weekends Nascar weekend at the Glen was alright, but i did hate some of it.
first off during the cup race they throw yellows when Travis Kvapil and Sam Hornish Jr, went though the gravel pits, and ended up putting rocks on the track. however during the Nataionwide race the day before, there was debris on the short chute to the last turn, that was pointed out by Dale Jarret in the booth, then Steven Wallace Ran Out Of Fuel. but did they though the yellow for that, NOOOOOOOOO!.
by not throwing a yellow, right when Wallace ran out and had him end up stopping, even if he wasn't in the way, was putting his life in danger. for a sport that prides itself on protecting the drivers, and crew men, i found it very disrespetful. and to add insult to injury, they though the yellow only when they were coming to the checkered flag, a whole lap after Steven Wallace ran out of gas and stopped, and a whole three laps after i noticed the debris.
i feel they only did that, so that Marcos Ambrose, sould win. i understand it's his first win in Nascar, but he shouldn't get it, at the risk of other drivers lives.
