Unity please give me a break, there is no amount of unity by Hillary and Obama that would cause these american people to vote for Obama.Lets get real now everyone is coming up with reason on why Obama should not be President,he not experience enough,he know nothing about the security of our county, not sure what religion he is,the church he attends etc. no need for me to go on.Lets now call it what it is,racist people is alive and well and living next door to you. This county will never ever put a Black man and Obama is a Blackman into the White House.People are still very color blind meaning the only color they see is white. These same people still see Black Folks as second rate citizens. But we are not as matter of fact we are very far from that.Read your history, not white history but Black History and there you will find your answer on weather a Blackman can run this county, and I'm referring to all the things blacks has done for this county, from the underground railroad to the inventions that help build our great nation. No we are not or ever will be second to anyone. One last thing,as far as elections is concerns where do these so call people who run for office go to get votes,in the Black community,so yes ,yall need us as much as we need you.Why can't people look at whats on the inside instead of what color the box is.Thinking that will all change, well not in this lifetime.

I for one would not mind a black man for President, if he were the right man. Meaning, one who did not bring race to the table, race should not be brought up for any reason when you are in the running for President. If we as a people stop using the race card the issue of race will no longer be an issue. It is the illiterate youth of today, the street kids, and the people looking for an easy ride that are feeding the race fire. I marched for equal rights for all people and I for one do not judge a package by the wrapping. There are a lot of times that I do not like what is inside the box as you say. We have to stop thinking in black and white. All of us are unique in our own ways. All of us come from different backgrounds. I love having friends from different parts of the world some who practice different religions. We are all alike yet somewhat different - that is what makes life interesting. Unfortunately we do not have a very good pool to choose from for President. I like McCain - but I do not believe a Republican should be in the White House - Obama - I am not sure about with all the different and conflicting stories piecing his background together.

I hear you,but race will always be an issue.Thats the kind of world we live.Where there still places that blacks can't live without being harass.Blacks in the south are still going though so much.Blacks in the legal system continue to be mistreated unfair.I feel there are jobs that we can't have even if it is a law that said they can't discriminate, but they find ways to get around this.I'm speaking on things that I have personal experience with. Its like we have to be three times better than whites when applying for just about anything. They make the requirements so high till we can't reach them, this can also apply to buying or renting a home. This all is very real, and anytime you hear someone say I have nothing against black people nine out of ten they do,or some of my best friends are black yea right and how many times have you invited them to dinner. The movie called "A time to Kill" has a very good message,it show the real Americans we're looking at there.I was raised in the 50's and 60's and so yes I'm somewhat bitter towards how we been treated as a people. There should only be one race and thats the human race.If we stop and look closer at all the things we have in common instead of what makes us different we could maybe come together as a people.

I don't agree with the buy out because it lets those who cause this problem get away scott free.Government needs to ID those persons and make them pay back all the money they stole,by doing this no buy outs is needed. And why let Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac off, like they let AIG off and now AIG is partying with our hard earned tax dollars. You can't solve a problem by creating another.Government continue to do the same thing and expect different results.
