I was reading where someone not sure who suggest that the tax payers foot some of the bill for Yankee Stadium. Please give me a break, first of all the money they spend so far would be better used to build AFORDABLE HOUSING in the Bronx, I don't mean housing that cost $400,000 a price that very few families can afford,as matter of fact the way things are going now no familes will be able to afford. These folks got nerve, they want money from us to help build a Stadium that I can't even afford to take my family too because the cost of the tickets, and my tax dollars should pay for this no way. What they could have done was to fix up the old Yankees Stadium ,oh by the way there is talk about the Mets getting a new Stadium, who is next the Knicks maybe,I have nothing against our sports team I just feel the money could be spend better some where else.I'm curious on how others feel about this.

Hell, I'd be happy if the subway platforms that I wait in on the way to work didn't look like a set from the Planet of the Apes. It would also be nice if our public schools joined the twentieth century with such unheard of luxuries as air conditioning. The new Yankee stadium is a sad monument to misdirected effort and misappropriated funds.

I don't agree with the buy out because it lets those who cause this problem get away scott free.Government needs to ID those persons and make them pay back all the money they stole,by doing this no buy outs is needed. And why let Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac off, like they let AIG off and now AIG is partying with our hard earned tax dollars. You can't solve a problem by creating another.Government continue to do the same thing and expect different results.
