So what do you think happens after someone dies?

Is it reincarnation, a higher level of consciousness, just a bunch of bright lights, will they go to heaven or maybe go to hell?

If its heaven who gets to go and why?

And if it's hell who will go and why?

Chime in with your answer and why you believe it.

I am in the process of writing a new blog and would like the general public’s views on death and why they believe what they believe. Thank you

I have no idea. I have so much to occupy myself with in life, that I don't have time to fixate on death or afterlife. For me, it's more important to focus on doing the right things now, in this world. I am never going to worry about what my existence will be after my death. Nobody knows for sure anyway, so when people start getting specific about existence after death they are engaging in pure speculation. I suppose it could be entertaining, but that's about it. What will be, will be, and the truth is still the truth no matter how you slice it. Have a great weekend.

Everyday I do what is right and proper for me and others. I compacted the commandments to a sin is "anything you do, to hurt yourself or another, now or in the future."

I feel that if in the heat of an argument, I smacked another on the side of the head, realized what I did, apologized to the person, never did it again - it was no longer a sin but a learning experience. Just for an example.

All I know is that I have met so many wonderful people in this life sojourn who we could not be together now that I want to spend the next lifetime with them. If this doesn't happen, I still have those few hours that remain in my heart and mind.

I have so many so close friends that if I go first I will have a light in a window, coffee pot on and stew in a crockpot waiting for them.

Meanwhile, it really doesn't matter what really occurs then to me now - too busy having a great life even though it is not all peaches and buffalo stew - it is in balance with fun and learning!

Heres a thought. When we die we go on to the next level up. Each lifetime will be better than the previous, as long as you were good and deserved it. At some point you would have lived the best life ever and then remained at the hand of God in Heaven. What do you guys think???

BronxGirl, Pop always said that hell was here on Earth. This is the place we are to experience; to learn and grow. If all dogs go to heaven, so do we.

All I know is that if we have to come back and do the SAME lessons again, I sure am going to complete all of them that are put on my plate this lifetime. Getting kicked by a mule the second time is not a learning experience.
