Going to Heaven?

Ask yourself this? Have you ever lied, stolen, looked with lust. If so God sees you as a lying, Thieving, Adulterer at heart and will have to give you justice. The Bible says you can’t make up for your own sins.

I've always found it fascinating that it all monotheistic religions, the message is always, "Love me or die and suffer for eternity!" Kinda puts a new meaning on "unconditional love." Just an observation. Be well. Peace.

Sanctus, I believe you got it wrong. We as humans have put this burden upon ourselves. Gods love is unconditional. He offers you eternal life. But you have to accept that gift he gave it to all mankind but they have to accept it.

God does not send you to hell you will send yourself there with your disobedience. If you know anything of the scripture then you should know that God is completely holy and just he can not have fellowship with sin because he is holy and he cannot just forgive sin because he is also just.

When Adam and Eve sinned and disobey the one and only rule they had and that was not to eat of the tree. That is when the man and not only man but all of creation fell that is why we have pain and suffering death and tragedies it is our own fault for trying to be like God ourselves and turning our back on him. God never wanted that as a matter of fact 4000 years before Jesus birth God told Adam and Eve that he was going to provide a redeemer for them in Gen 3:15 he told them (paraphrasing) that the damage that sin has caused to all of creation will soon be fixed because he loved us. He could have said they messed up and I will just let them all die, but he did not he trained them for 4000 years on what to look forward to and that was a messiah. The messiah will come in two parts the first one as a suffering Christ that will open the door to forgiveness without the need for any more sacrifices and the as a ruling Christ that will restore all of creation back to is original form before the fall of Adam and Eve. The first part has already happened 2000 years a

2000 years ago when Jesus God very own Son was sent to this fallen creation to redeem all of those who love God and those who reject him that’s there choice, he is not going to force love from his creation he did not due it with Adam and Eve and he is not going to do it with you. He said He was the way the truth and the life. And if you will repent turn from your selfish sins, basically doing what you want to do and making your own way thinking you can do better then God, turning from that and making Jesus the center of your life and then trusting in the sacrifice he did for you then you will be saved and have eternal life.

You see the sacrifice was to pay for the laws you have broken against God and remember I said God can not have fellowship with sin he could not just forgive sin because he was just well he satisfied the justice with the blood of he very own Son. He now can have fellowship with us and forgive our sins because of Jesus and all you have to do is turn from your sin and trust in Jesus as your payment in full

Many will say I have done this and keep living the way the always have, but Jesus said if you truly love him you will obey his commandments in other word putting you money were your mouth is if you have truly repented and trusted him you will not willing try and sin any longer because you will be a child of God and no longer a child of wrath
He does not what you to parish if he did he would not have sacrificed his only son for you.
The scriptures words “In yet while we were yet sinners Christ died for us”

We are all on our way to hell not because he is sending us there but because we are sending ourselves there with our rebellion. He has provided the way to have eternal life all you have to do is accept it
Repent and trust him fully today and you will have eternal life

Yes, I completely understand and respect the western interpretation of Christianity in all of its aspects. I make it a practice to reject nothing but evil. I have read the entire bible hundreds of times and I have a different interpretation. If I were asked to summarize the message from the God in the bible it would be: "Love me, Obey me, trust me, follow me and live forever with me in heaven. Do anything else and die, suffering apart from me for eternity." You say the same thing in a different way and I understand your push to frame the message as one of hope, love and everlasting life. I do not need the threat of agonizing death in hell to love my fellow mortals. I do not need the threat of eternal separation from God to be kind and charitable and true. I am not great, nor to I hold myself up as better than anyone or any supernatural being. I am but the smallest spec of dust in the universe, the smallest whisper of a soul. I am imperfect, sometimes foolish and always filled with wonder. I wish you peace and long life and I admire the courage of your convictions. Be well.

I have been called to spread the Gospel. Which means there will be times that I may speak things that will not agree with peoples ideas of faith and God, But I am not here to say things that are just pleasing to the ears. I am here to speak the truth and somtimes I know that the truth can be harsh and brutle but usally will result in one of two things it will either offend or convert. The world hates me because I speak of its evil deeds- Jesus If you don't likewise repent, you to will perish.-Jesus John 3:16 For God so loved the world(you) that he gave his only begotten son(Jesus) the whosoever believes(trusts) in him will not perish(in Hell) but have eternal life(in Heaven)!!-Jesus
