Warm weather will take us into tonight along with a few clouds from time to time.  The low temperature for Midtown will be 70 degrees with 62-68 degrees across the cooler suburbs.

Hot and humid weather moves in for Thursday thanks to a southwesterly airflow.  It will be a nice looking day with sunshine and some puffy clouds as high temperatures will climb to around 90 for most places with some low 90s across some inland spots but remaining in the 80s along the coast.  Warm and humid conditions will prevail for Thursday night and with a disturbance headed at us from the northwest, there will be the threat of some showers or a thunderstorm late at night into early Friday morning.  The low temperature will head down to 69 degrees for Midtown and 63-68 degrees across the suburbs.

On Independence Day, a storm system will begin to approach from the west.  It will remain humid ahead of this system as a combination of sun and clouds returns along with the threat of showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon into Friday night.  This may present a problem for fireworks displays that night so check in for the latest updated forecast.  High temperature will be mainly in the low 80s.

More of the same is expected for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday as this weather system will get hung up along the eastern seaboard.  There will likely be more clouds than sun each day along with a greater chance for showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and evening.  High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s.
