After reading BigBadBob’s blog, ‘The Little Dab That Did Me'…I started thinking of many events in my life, or those close to me that always makes me smile no matter how foul a mood I happen to be in.  I know we all have those moments in our lives where some wild and crazy thing happens while all we can do at the moment is wonder ‘WHY DID THIS HAPPEN??’  It’s only after some time has passed that you can look back and laugh at the memory.

My first ‘Hilarious Happening’ was actually when I was very young.  I was about 7 years old, when my class had went on a trip to the Aquarium.  Of course we were all so excited to be out of a hot and humid classroom.  Somehow on that very hot June day while watching the penguins play, the class bully came over to me and put his arm around my shoulders.  Not being one to be bullied by him, I went to shove him away ~ but he stopped me by telling me that he wanted me to be his girlfriend.  I was thinking this had to be one of his jokes, but I agreed just to see how things played out.  He bought me a stuffed dolphin with all the money his little pockets could hold.  He held my hand most of the day as we walked through all the exhibits.  As we were finally getting ready to board the bus to bring us back to school, I dropped my adorable stuffed dolphin.  Sadly, we both bent down to pick it up ~ only I was a split second faster and on my way back to standing position…the back of my head slammed into his face.  Shock and dismay clouded both of our faces…but then the horror came.  Blood started gushing from his mouth.  My skull had knocked one of his loose front teeth clear out.  He started crying…very loudly.  Needless to say, he did not want me to be his girlfriend anymore.

Ahhh…memories.  So do tell ~ what Hilarious Happenings are you willing to share?  Trust me…I have lots and lots more to tell.  Do you dare to share?

Years ago I owned a cab in nyc. I had a steady 5:30 AM pick up five days a week that took my from Queens to Wall Street every morning. I get a call at 5:30 with my steady screaming wanting to know where I was... Appaently over night we had a black-out so my alarm clock didn't go off. I woke up, got dressed, passed on the shower and sped over to her building to find her tapping her foot and pointing to her watch. She jumped into my cab and we sped off. Some how I managed to get her to work ten minutes earlier than usual....Okay her hair was leaning to one side and her glasses were crooked...but she was relieved and thanked me. After putting in a twelve hour day I got home and went into the bathroom, looked at my head in the mirror and disovered that I worked the entire day with the hair on the back of my head as flat as a blackboard! That's worse than HAT HAIR! It explained the weird behavior and giggling that went on all day with my passengers. The next day when I picked her up, she broke into a fit of laughter that lasted for the whole ride!! How devious!! SHE KNEW BUT WOULDN'T TELL ME!!
HARUMPH!

BigBadBob...we definitely do bounce right back. LoL!

Here's a hair story for you...one Halloween I was really against getting all dressed up for whatever reason I don't remember anymore. I dressed in all black and streaked my hair with those comb-thru colors...I had red, blue and purple and of course sparkles. I had my make-up all did...still not considering I was wearing a costume and convinced I was just playing dress up or something. Well at the party I went to, I wound up dancing with this really nice guy...we wound up in the back having some drinks and doing the huggy thing. When we rejoined company...and light ~ snickers and laughter greetes us. Well it seems that my wonderful colors and sparkles were all over him in very strange and interesting patterns. It so happened he was wearing a shirt that was half white and half black...his costume as he described it was Good & Bad. LoL...well I think my colors on his white just made it All bad.

Lesson learned that night...make sure that hair stuff is completely dry before you hole up in a corner with someone. LoL!

Hey Sherry,
the first story would be a perfect addition to my worst dates..
As far as you and the guy with the hair spray paint, look at it this way it's a good thing the paint was on his shirt instead of somewhere else = )

Bob did you break up with that chick??? She would have been looking for a ride after that.

Ok I have to think of something..I have a few stories just need to write one thats not going to offend too many people
Shaun = )
