I'm not so sure he is the right choice. Sure, he performed miracles for Phoenix, but this is the New York Knicks-----Good Luck!

no way. we need a bulldog for a coach, not D'Antoni. Let's not forget we still have Marbury, and he is no Steve Nash! we're in trouble again!

D'Antoni is simply the next in a long list of bad choices for the Knicks. He's a run and gun coach who can win during the regular season, but has been rejected by the Suns becuase he refuses to play the kind of defense needed to win in the playoffs. From the deep hole the Knicks are in now, D'antoni's an improvement, but even if Da'ntoni does the best he's ever done, we will need an upgrade in three years. case, the Knicks will

I think D'Antoni is he best thing hat has happened to the KNicks in a while but you cant really tell if hes the real deal. Hes been coaching nash and stoudimire. Lets see how he does with Marbury and Curry

No - He is just the next in a long line of mistakes for the Knicks. His run and gun style won't play in New York. His lack of defense is why the Suns are happy to see him go and even if he does his best job ever for the Knicks, they will still be looking for a replacement that can win in the playoffs within three years.

Sure, Knicks have not been so hot lately. Even if D' Antoni isn't the best, it is still a changer.

D'Antoni may not be the best choice for right now. But things could change. I believe Walsh is a smart man. Remember his plan is to be under the cap and 2 years. By getting a top-notch coach now even though its a bad roster, having D'Antoni along for the rebuilding process gives them a more legitimate chance to make a run at LeBron James or Dewayne Wade in 2 years.

I Think Mike D'Antoni is the wonderful choice to join the New York Knicks coaching job & it is so wonderful to know that he would like to bring home the NBA Title in 2009.
