Joba Chamberlain. Joba has 4 solid pitchers. He uses the whole plate and has a great arm. Joba has had a slow start, however tonights start looked pretty good. Good Luck Joba!

Both will have an equal impact. Pedro and Joba are both very valuable for this season. Both clubs have some rotation issues and these two studs need to pitch to the best of their abilities. We have all seen Pedro in Boston, but does he still have his stuff? We know what Joba can do in the eighth inning, but can he make that successful move to pitching six innings a game, every five games? Both Martinez and Chamberlin will have an equal impact to their clubs.

It would be a bigger impact in a negative way for the Yankees. Joba is on a limited pitch count, so he's out by the 5th or 6th, and who is going to be the bridge to Rivera? Yankees will need an eight run lead since the bull pen is good for giving up five.

will he make an impact
joba is not a starter
pedro is a dud finished
pitches good once every 5 games
cashman needs to get out of the yankees org.

Pedro is a former Cy Young award winner. With his experience and savvy he will make the bigger impact. Don't forget that Joba is basically a rookie who is looking to see where he fits, let alone make an impact. Pedro can help the Mets win now, while Joba might help the Yanks win in the future.
