There are supposed to be three Branches of Government; Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, and Judicial Branch.

Legislators used to be Average Joes, serving one term and maybe two, and anxious to get back home to their store, or farm, or ranch, whatever.

Now, the vast majority have degrees in Political Science, and followed up with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence.

In practice, that means that the Legislative Branch has been taken over to become a subsidiary of the Judicial Branch. Now we have one third Executive, and two thirds Judicial.

I don't know if it started at Municipal levels and went up, or started at the Federal level and trickled down. And, it really doesn't matter.

What matters is that Lawyers haven't changed a bit over the past two-thousand years. They are still ". . . Binding up burdens grievous to be born, and laying them on [our] shoulders, while they, themselves, won't put out a finger to help move them."

The Law was once designed for Order and Justice, but has now EVOLVED into a trap. If you are not a part of their Fraternity, you are one of the hunted.
