It's a shame that the parents on rival teams don't realize that when their kids play against pitchers of Jericho Scotts calibre it improves the play of their kids. Whenever you play someone better than you in any sport you usually lose but on the possitive side it improves your play.  So what if their little darlings strike out a couple of times. It actually helps them get used to the reality of life. There are ups and downs, sucesses and failures.   Good learning lesson for 8  to 11 year olds.  Can't say the same for their parents.

I'm surprized that these protesting parents didn't demand a test for steroids of this nine year old.  

A man and his wife are demanding 10 million dollars from the Bronx zoo after being stuck on a cable car for 5 hours. I was stuck on the A train between stations for 15 minutes last week. That should be good for 1.5 million. I also had a cup of coffee with me. The lid came loose and I burned my leg. That should be good for 2 million more. These frivolous lawsuits are backing up our court system and causing delays in valid suits.

 New York City expects a significent increase in tourism do to the newly installed Brooklyn Bridge and surrounding area's waterfalls.  The waterfalls were a good and novel idea, BUT, there is one major flaw in the idea. The falls at night is lit by a steady white light ( Yawn). If New York  had alternating color lights, red white and blue of course, culminating in a tri color light it would attract more visitors and even some locals. If you go to Niagra Falls do you see a steady white light brightening the falls at night? The answer is no. What you do see is lots and lots of tourists gandering at the multi lit falls. it's not to late N.Y.C lets do the NYC falls homage with some exciting color.

  New Jersey is now enforcing the ban on talking on a cell phone  or texting while driving .  New  Jersey transit recently made it possible to get the latest tunnel and other crossing reports on your cell phone or by texting.

 New Jersey transit is encouraging drivers to break the law by offering this service that people will take advantage of while driving.

YO THE WISH NYC

Before visitors come to N.Y.C they should have to pass a " How to walk " class. I live by the South Street Seaport. Visitors coming and going to the seaport walk 3, 4, even 5 abreast. They walk slow, stop suddenly and don't give it a second thought that they are blocking others. They will not move out of the way and give you a dirty look if you brush them as your trying to get by. Too bad there's not a people tow ( like the illegally parked car tows) . Imagine a people tow. You back the truck up ,lower the rope and put it around the visitors waist lift him/her up and bring him /her to the pound where they can be picked up by their family. If not picked up in 90 days they will be auctioned to other countries.

 Do you remember Approximately 4 years ago there were reports that because so many more home runs were being hit then in the past that the balls were being juiced by the manufactures? They thought the balls were being wound tighter. Boy were they off base. It was the batters that were juiced.
