There is a simple solution to the issue of Bloomberg serving a third term in office without actually being mayor. Mayor Bloomberg can carefully screen and choose someone from his party to run for mayor with the understanding if that person wins he or she will enlist Bloomberg as " An Advisor " . The new mayor would be a figurehead while Bloomberg made all the major decisions. This is legally possible. Not ethical by legally possible

The case and the verdict against O.J Simpson had an errie similarity to the case and verdict against murderer and racketeer Al Capone. They couldn't convict capone on any murder charge but was able to convict him on a non violent crime of tax evasion. They couldn't convict O.J on a murder charge but was able to convict him on a somewhat non violent crime of robbery with a weapon. I guess it's true what they say ," What goes around comes around," "pay me now or pay me later"
Do you really think they are near an agreement on the bailout package ? I don't. I believe all parties know if they didn't announce an agreement was near the markets would be in turmoil on Monday. They will be arguing on the bailout package for quite sometime.

. Mr Morales was tasered which caused his fall off a NARROW ledge.There should have been a net under Morales if they were going to taser him off that narrow ledge. They do it for animals that they sedate in high places.Why not Morales. There was no urgency to taser him before securing his safety.Where he was positioned indicated he was not a threat to innocent bystanders or anyone else.The man was sick, there were other ways to coax him down if the police took the time to think it out. Poking at a cop who could have easily moved out of the way was no excuse..The police did not use good judgement and heads should roll.

I'm sure most of you can relate to this minor yet annoying issue.Why do coffee shops and street cart coffee venders bother to put those little napkins in the bag when you order your morning coffee and donut or bagel to go.When you get to your destination the napkins are always soaking wet and unusable, so why bother ?

A man and his wife are demanding 10 million dollars from the Bronx zoo after being stuck on a cable car for 5 hours. I was stuck on the A train between stations for 15 minutes last week. That should be good for 1.5 million. I also had a cup of coffee with me. The lid came loose and I burned my leg. That should be good for 2 million more. These frivolous lawsuits are backing up our court system and causing delays in valid suits.
