Big 3 Slumps Affect The Nation

Many know the Big Three are losing ground against the foreign competitors like Toyota and Nissan to name a few. Many blame the Quality Control of the auto plants by the number of mass recalls the US automakers have. Others will also state that most of the parts in our cars comes from foreign sources anyway so what does it matter. My point is that whenever any American chooses to buy a foreign vehicle, they are sending the profits directly to these foreign countries instead of buying American and keeping American autoworkers employed. In my opinion, making more unemployed US autoworkers sends those same people right to the foreign auto plants sprouting up all over America. If this trend continues, the Big Three will be the last 3 and all of the businesses that rely on their strong sales will also cease to exist. The effects of the Bug Three's slumping sales is hardest felt here in the Metro Detroit area as we are indeed the Motor City. Bottom line is when a powerful automotive capital of the world like Detroit goes under, the ripple effects will be felt across the nation. Support your American workers, demand better quality control & economy and BUY AMERICAN!!! OPINIONS?
