We know God doesn't like hypocrites so live out your faith with a sense of realism and gusto. God loves you. Isn't His practical way He shows up in situations a real kick? I know He's doing a work in people's hearts. Anybody who comes to God must believe that He is, and is a rewarder of them that do their do diligence to seek Him: they find Him. People make mud out of money but God keeps accurate records and can't stay under divided alleigence. Will you become His disciple today? I have and I know Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father God but by Him. If your on this train bound for glory give a holler on the comments and a bit about yourself for prayer purpose. I'm open for God to destroy the stock market if He has to get our attention. But I'll settle for revival like Ninevah had. Hear? Davy

God loves you. Jesus is Risen. He is not here, He arose. Believe in the God who believes in you. Accept Christ as Savior and Lord. God is offering you a chance. You can take a narrow view of the way to heaven and get saved. Even good people need Jesus. But if God does not know you in the end it was a life in vain lived. That is why we need to read the Bible to know if it is God and God's way. God is not unjust to love you and give you space to repent. We all need to repent. In some ways we can repent before God for our whole nation, America, who used to be great for the stand she took for God. Save yourself from this untoward generation and understand life is short. Life is hard, but God is good. He asks us what do we want in heaven and opened an ear and held out His arms to welcome, and we crucified Him nailing Him to a tree cross. What more can God do for you than wait for a response when He did everything to save you if you would only react by getting salvation? Even living your rest of life for Him by faith through grace on a kneel in unceasing prayer and praise? The choice remains until you see the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ! Until then we are ambassadors for God's glory. II Cor. 4.
I was only a small child when I gave my heart to the Lord but I knew I had the goods. Jesus was the stuff and I knew I NEEDED Him. I surrendered my life, my whole future to lay them at His feet. At an altar with God I found the Lord's Presence near me. From then on I HAVE READ MY BIBLE DAILY, PRAYED TO GOD OBEDIENTLY, AND LOVED GOD AND MY FELLOW MAN. But it is by grace to be saved, the Gift of God and I know Jesus's Blood has saved my soul. But my life is not in a state of heaven yet so my life becomes a thankyou letter to God and that is why by faith I have vision to live FROM Jesus Christ within! AND throughout eternity I'm going to praise Him. And I'll live and reign with Him for all eternity. When Christ, Who is our life appears, then shall we also appear with Him in glory. As you have received Christ, live and also walk in Him. May Jesus Christ be praised. DC

A Song from Keith Green
My son, My son, why are you striving
You can't add one thing to what's been done for you
I did it all while I was dying
Rest in your faith, my peace will come to you
For when I hear the praises start
I want to rain upon you
Blessings that will fill your heart
I see no stain upon you
Because you are my child and you know me
To Me you're only holy
Nothing that you've done remains
Only what you do for Me

God is love. God's love was such that He gave us life (for it is about life not existence) to test us to see if we would inch our way to Him to lay hold of Him even if there are distractions, divided hearts, cares of the world, or divided attentions spans. In spite of crowds who wanted to hear Jesus (and there will always be crowds who want to do that) there were relatively few in number that wanted to be His Disciples at such a time as when Jesus could begin talking about discipleship after performing miracles.
Jesus' statements and mention of counting the cost, forsaking all, to follow, to be able to believe Him to be the Messiah, Son of Man, who is servant to man and minister to all, etc. all were irritating. People found them hard statements if they had not been softened by His goodness enough. To Jesus miracles were a side issue to heart matters if the temporal need was not immediate as He saw fit. Jesus did not like to be called Master for this reason.
He would go to the cross and rise from the dead to be seated in Heaven to go great lengths to reveal His Risen purpose to obtain true Disciples of God in this grace age.
And when He arose from the dead over five hundred brethren (see I Corinthians 15) observed Him ascend to Heaven but where were they ten days later? Only one hundred twenty were in the upper room to be commissioned by our Lord and to wait for the Promise of His Father: The Holy Spirit which was to come. (Jesus said, "I must go away, so that the Comforter, The Holy Spirit may come John 14-17.")
Jesus wants us to go beyond the bread and the fishes of His provision and the tingling of the ears of hearing His sermons and allow Jesus Himself be the "first love of our life" and to embark on a journey of leaving the past behind for The Great Adventure of being born from above. And simply if we would go after Jesus' Gift with reckless abandon for Him and the calling from the Christ, and pursue His cause, leaving sin and sinful things on a permanent basis behind and obtaining forgiveness from God, they could have '"church" with their heavenly Father God and one another consistently so they could find the simple relationship God is after with them, and they too reciprocating of what would fulfill them the most (God-man relationship!) Jesus saves, keeps, and satisfies!
God is reaching out to you and if you will hear His Voice, don't harden your hearts while it is still called Today, but come to Jesus Christ Hebrews 3:15! His love is unfailing! He will not fail you to not accept you (He will not cast you away) but He will throw the biggest party for you this side of heaven has ever been for you! Accept Him and you can be His crucified yet risen child Gal 2:20;Col 3:1. God will put you right with Him.
All of heaven rejoices when one sinner repents. And there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who's repenting than over ninety nine just persons who need no repentance!
When a man found a treasure in a field He hid it in the ground and sold all he had to buy that field. Jesus said, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you" Mat.6:33. This is that Kingdom treasure we can lay up in heaven. Nothing, no thing can corrupt it. It starts w/ love, joy, peace, and healing (Therapuo sounds like therapy in Grk?)
Jesus Christ will listen to you with meekness of heart and become your rest (Hebrews 4) and cause you to find Him the Savior and Lord, Jesus for your soul, real refreshment! Talk it over with Him. We're not talking about never a bad thing happening but a well-balanced Christ - in - you, the hope of glory, life Col 1:27; Phil 1:21;2:12,13. A more than a conqueror love from God to firm up your spirit in Christ in victory will be yours also Roman 8:29-38.
These steps are to real peace with God in prayer, praise, worship, and purpose Rom. 5:1. Read Matthew 8:1-22. Read, "The Pursuit Of God," by A.W. Tozer.
Jesus gave the signs of the Kingdom and then the calling to the Kingdom. His miracles were just a preview of the Kingdom. But right in the middle of all this power...Jesus thought... of as important: calling children to Himself for blessing and the basics for disciples.
PEOPLE are Drawn to Jesus. The great PASSION of God is the unsaved. Jesus was sent to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10.) Jesus sees the crowd - He has compassion. The "crowds" come because of their needs. It is all about what they can get out of Jesus (Jn 6:26.) This is the major problem with the "Seeker Sensitive." People will always be drawn to those who will help. But, they will not stay when they don't get what they want!
Jesus knew it was time to leave! In the middle of the miraculous, God gets tough! He will use the blessing as a call to commitment. Jesus is asking for our hearts today... Let us come and commit it all to His Hand... and forsaking all, deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him.
Signs and wonders are part of LIFE in Christ. They follow obedience and preaching the word. Jesus can touch anyone...leper, Roman, even a M -I - L!
It's not about the disease, but about the WORD! Jesus takes and carries them... Disciples learned: The heart of ministry to the hurting is Jesus. The Passion of the Heart of God is LIFE. Our ministry awaits...
Following Hard after God, tenaciously serving Jesus... I am His servant, Dave C w/ help from beloved RC

God likes you. He loves you but He also likes you! Isn't that great? He made us kings and priests unto God it says in Revelation. God created each one of us with a purpose. Happy is the man the Lord knows and to be envied above others. Psalm 139 says we were made fearfully and wonderfully. That is, by intelligent design. God loved us so much He sent His only Son to earth. He promised before He left earth for heaven again, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." In Isaiah He says, "I will uphold you with My victorious right hand."
His peace is not like this world's peace. Jesus said, "My peace I give unto you not as the world gives, give I unto you; let not your hearts be troubled neither let them be afraid."
Jesus went to prepare a place for us where He and us can be together. This is John 14:1-4. Jesus likes us to ask for specific items from Him and put a name on what we ask for. God love to do things for people. He delights in us and rejoices over us with singing. He will quiet us in His love and rejoice again over us in His love Zephaniah 3:17.
The preaching of the Gospel causes people to be freed from sin. If you need help and want a new beginning come to Jesus Christ and He will be your answer and fill your life with His Presence. His anointing breaks the yoke of bondage.
"I will worship with all of my heart. I will praise You with all of my life. I will love You all of my days. You alone are worthy of all my praise." There is healing power in the Name of Jesus. Just at the mention of that Name and you can fell a lot of problems.
Come to Christ and ask God for the forgiveness of your sins. Confess you're a sinner and ask God to repent. Contrition is being sorry for what you do wrong before God. God will hear and forgive but surrender. All who call upon the Name of the Lord will be saved. God will heal you if you need healing. If you have fear God will give you love.
Love destroys fear because we know God loves us and His love does not disappoint us. God is love. For if One died we know He died for all that henceforth they should not live unto themselves but unto God. If you want to know God personally bow your head and pray. Begin to trust in the Name of God's only Son. My Father's love letter endures. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God Romans 10:17.
Salvation be unto our God forever and ever. Amen. Be and do what the Son and the Holy Spirit tell you and where they listeth and go on to discipleship.

God can only bless us as we totally surrender alligience to Him by obeying or doing what God in His Word tells us. The will of God is not always happiness but joy along the way. It's not just about money nor prosperity as some say this on TV mistakenly by Christian TV Preachers.
We think of giving with expecting something when we think outside the box of obedience to His will. God has a usual way of working and we call this His way or better, His principle. When we honor by obedience to principle and specific do it we are rewarded "in the relationship" and that is first spiritually and if God wills, materially.
It is not an option not to be givers nor obeyers but focus and concentration when life becomes bitter and we don't see the answers come (the way we want them,) becomes necessary.
God has you and me in mind all the time because He loves you and me all the time: He's trying to get you in conformity with the image of His Son, Christ. So God may allow troubles and afflictions if it means a greater vessel for His use and a greater joy in heaven for you by deepening your character through suffering.
Christ is going to take a stand for you but down on this earth you will be persecuted for doing right things. Jesus says we can make it because He overcame this world. He will live through you. You will recognize Him in your hearts. Just be sure you have identified with the Risen Christ in a relationship daily, by obeying, giving, trusting. By grace you are saved, not works however. Phil 3:10;I Peter 4:13,14; Col. 1:24; 2 Cor 9, 10.
"If you abide in Me (Jesus) and My words abide you, you will ask whatever you wish and it shall be done for you by My Father, so proving you to be My disciples." John 15

I believe in our giving we all could be more improved givers, more generous with our talent, treasure, and time for others and other's benefit, and the church of Jesus Christ. Are you familiar with Abraham's giving 10% to Melchizedek who was a type or foreshadowing of Christ Jesus, a priest with no beginning or ending the Bible says in Genesis? Abram paid tithes this way.
We hear in the Book of Malachi, God says, "you have robbed me," and we said, "where Lord?" "in tithes and offerings God says." There is a qualifier which means the promise comes as promises do come with conditions.
"God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants," it says in Psalms if we put God first as Lord which means Master-King, Ruler, and Reigner over all our decisions. Delight in Him and He shall give you the desires of our heart Psalm 37:4 Jesus is God if you follow the Biblical revelation and the many internal proofs of it within the Bible itself.
God further says in Malachi, "Prove me now herewith says the Lord, if I will not open to you the windows of heaven and give you a blessing you cannot contain to overtake you and bless you." He only asked us to make Him Lord and obey Him.
I practice this in my life by asking God specificly for what I want and need and live with the consequences of TRUSTING GOD with the results. (In whatever form God might answer) I give and sow my tithes and offerings into His Kingdom and work and to the poor as unto God. I talk to God throughout the day as to what His will is and then do it. Dialog with God is rewarded as dilligently I seek Him and He honors us as we honor His Presence. He is worthy of all Power and all Praise.
As we give and sow bountifully and in direct proportion to that generous feeling usually we reap bountifully as we follow through and give. And it is according as we're able and not according to what we don't have! But none of this is possible "in the Power of the Holy Spirit" unless one becomes born again born from above! See John 3, I Corinthians 15:-1-7.

I want to add that the Christian Life is no bed of roses nor is it a feel good all the time prospect. It is also a life of blessing and great joy as we explore and discover Who God is. Many have taken the Savior as their Lord and have this joy.
Of course no one can in the flesh muster stoicism to intellectually stop sinning, but God says that if you've done it once, you've failed the entire law. Sin once, entire law broken in other words.
Christ gives a new life. He says chuck the old brains and He will plant His nature and all things will become new. Solomon said, "much study is a weariness to the flesh." So let's see if we can experience God's character rather than gather a bunch of facts. To know God you must read New Testament words and find Christ.
God knew man would do this (sin or fail) so He ordained faith and a substitution only He could provide (Christ's Death.) We call this salvation or being saved. Man will in his spirit acknowledge he/she is wrong before God and repent in this. Metanoia is the Greek for repent. It means to change the mind a hundred and eighty degrees. To go about-face. To stop sinning.
God draws us and we come to Christ and turn the switch and He gives faith to believe which He Himself provided the way for, Jesus being God, being the way, the truth, and the life. On the basis of one act by God we become His children and are saved. That act was Jesus's atoning Death on the cross. We must follow the Risen Christ. We must love God.
God lets those who believe claim His Right Living (a word for Righteousness) for they "by His Power become God's children" in John 1:12 as they turn from all known behavior of sin and attitude to accept Christ inside as the Name above all names and personal. "Come let us reason," God says in Isaiah to be saved, "Though your sins be as red as scarlet they shall be white like wool or whiter than the snow." God loves us but only in Christ being "in Christ" can we obtain victory over this world and sin and be ready for the next life.
True there is great benefit to knowing God aright but you will see trouble and troubles like no one else has. It is right to follow Jesus. Being and doing right before God is so great it is the wisest thing you can do for yourself and eternally satisfying to the mostest. But getting to the crux of the Gospel Jesus was God and suffered in the flesh like you and me to the greatest identifying extent humanly possible and without sin absolutely and became a Perfect Savior (and High Priest), because He suffered to follow God arightly.
And He had the authority and power to do signs and miracles and wonders and healings which His disciples could emulate and proving His Deity He became the Eternal Author of our salvation because He is and was God. And, He is Risen! The Tomb is empty people! Jesus is alive.
He died righteously and furiously determined to do God's will and go to the cross an unjust death (watch The Passion of Christ movie) being innocent of the charges made against Him so we could be made whole and witness to His goodness and mercy as sons! Do you have Him inside of you? God is a reality we must deal with before we die.
We are misled when we follow the cynicism of the media and this world system fail to gain eternal wisdom to begin to see God's plan of the ages. May God open the eyes of our heart. May we turn from sin and follow God. May we honor him to whom honor is due, Jesus, by committing our lives to live for Him. We were bought as a Price. Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.
"I AM SURE" is a song by Michael W. Smith and if we read to the "end of the Book...," another song same album..

Have you ever wanted to start over? I mean, live on air and come out of the cocoon a butterfly instead of a meal worm? The Bible says, "All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way and the Lord has laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53 I have been saved, that is, have a personal relationship, not religion, with my Savior, Jesus Christ and through Him to God. You don't need a reformed life we need a transformed life from the inside out. God loves you and you can be sure of Jesus dwelling inside if you agree (homologeo in Greek) with God in prayer that you are wrong before Him a sinner and have missed the mark. Then agree with God His mercy and grace covers you takes away your sin and you are forgiven! Live your rest of your life a disciple of Jesus and for God, knowing you are here saved by accepting the substitution of Christ's Death as atonement for your sins. It's an against the grain life, this life losing your life to find it in God's Kingdom of grace but you will bear fruit as you grow in the truth of who you are called, chosen, and promised to become in God's Word the Bible. Tell someone else about your experience and love God by showing evidence of God's mercy to you by doing justly, loving mercy, and walk humbly with your God. Jesus said through St. Paul, "No condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus," for "I am come that they may have life and have it more abundantly." Romans 8:1; John 10:10 "Wide is gate that leads to destruction but narow is the way to life and few there be that find it!" I have known the Lord since the age of four and have never looked back. I am blessed! He put a new man in my shoes. Yes there is a heaven and hell and you can be sure if you're on the right road. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!
