I want to add that the Christian Life is no bed of roses nor is it a feel good all the time prospect. It is also a life of blessing and great joy as we explore and discover Who God is within the crucified "rose" experienced blessing of God's forgiveness. Many have taken the Savior as their Lord and have this joy.

Of course no one can in the flesh muster enough stoicism to physically, emotionally nor intellectually stop sinning in themselves, but God says that if you've done it once, you've failed the entire law. Sin once, entire law broken in other words.

Christ gives a newness life. He says chuck the old brains and He will plant His new born again nature and all things will become new: new heart, new spirit, newness of life. Solomon said, "much study is a weariness to the flesh." So let's see if we can experience God's character rather than gather a bunch of facts. To know God you must read New Testament words and find Christ.

God knew man would do this (sin or fail) so He ordained faith and a substitution only He could provide (Christ's Death.) We call this salvation or being saved. Man will in his spirit acknowledge he/she is wrong before God and repent in this. Metanoia is the Greek for repent. It means to change the mind a hundred and eighty degrees about sin. To go about-face. To stop sinning.

God draws us and we come to Christ and turn the switch to believe and He gives faith to believe unto salvation which He Himself provided the way for, Jesus being God, being the way, the truth, and the life, God's propitiatory sacrifice Lamb. On the basis of one act by God we become His children and are saved. This is a seal in God's eyes. That act of sealership was Jesus's atoning Death on the cross. We must apply it to our life and then follow the Risen Christ. We must love God. Follow Christ. You can't lose for winning.

God lets those who believe claim His Right Living (a word for His Righteousness) for they "by His Power (Dunamus in Greek, and it sounds like dynamite) become God's children" in John 1:12 as they turn from all known behavior of sin and attitude to accept Christ inside as the Name above all names and personal to them. "Come let us reason," God says in Isaiah 1 to be saved, "Though your sins be as red as scarlet they shall be white like wool or whiter than the snow." God loves us but only in Christ being "in Christ" can we obtain victory over this world (and over sin) and be ready for the next life. Attend church for this more and more.

True there is great benefit to knowing God aright but you will see trouble and troubles like no one else has (unique and intimate to you.) It is truly right to follow Jesus. Being in His hand is blessing. Risen and following after the Holy Spirit you're being and doing right before God. This feeling is so great, so macro-cosmic (Hebrews 6:10-20) it is the wisest thing you can do for yourself and eternally satisfying to the mostest feeling of resurrection in Him. But getting to the crux of the Gospel Jesus is God and suffered in the flesh like you and me to the greatest extent humanly identifying humanly possible and without sin absolutely and positively right became a Perfect Savior (and Perfect High Priest), because He suffered rightly to follow God arightly and point men to God pleasing perfectly.

And He had the authority and power to do signs and miracles and wonders and healings which His disciples could do & emulate, and proving His Deity He became the Eternal Author of our salvation because He is and was God. And, He is Risen! The Tomb is empty! Jesus is alive.

He died righteously so indestructibly and unjustly as well having curiously & furiously determined to do God's will and go to the cross die an unjust death (watch The Passion of Christ movie, He gave up His Life: no one took it from Him) He became innocent of the charges made against Him crucified by others vicariously so we could be made whole and witness to His goodness and mercy as sons! Do you have Him inside of you? God is a reality we must deal with before we die. Hearts are in the balance.

We are misled when we follow the cynicism of the media and this world system & have unholy alliances and fail to gain eternal wisdom to follow Christ and so begin to see God's plan of the ages or blueprints in His Word with true discernment. You can open the morning paper and see the signs of the times right out of Matthew 24 and Revelation. May God open the eyes of our understanding of our heart to become the friend of God. May we turn from sin wholly and follow God. May we honor him to whom honor is due, Jesus, by committing our lives to Him, to live for Him. We were bought at a Price. Therefore glorify God. Count the cost to follow and pay it. Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

"I AM SURE" is a song by Michael W. Smith and if we read to the "end of the Book...,"  another song same album..be a disciple, follow Christ.

During the good times, we rejoice. During the hard times, we grow. I find life even better when I take one of those hard times, learn, and help others to do the same.

I feel Jesus came down on Earth as a man, to show all mankind what we can do, our potential.
Many people have also been charged of crimes that they did not commit in this day and age whether in the legal field or just some person accusing another using judgment rather than discernment. We all make mistakes in one way or another.

To me, a sin is anything you do to harm yourself or another, now or in the future.

I feel that if you do something wrong to yourself or another, realize what you have done, make amends for the deed, and never do it again, it is no longer a "sin" but a mistake. My "God" is a loving and forgiving god. I have also learned to love and forgive myself and others.

I love life - good times or not - the entire package.

Hi ANGELRUBY,
I love life very much and even determine to live to the fullest. In the difficult obstacles we know hope because God says He is working all to our good, all things. Roman 8:28

Jesus was much more than a moral teacher. He obeyed the O.T. Law to a tee and iota. But more He had a relationship with God that gave inspiration and perspiration to accomplish all the good: He made blind eyes to see, the lame to walk, the poor to have the good news preached, and on and on.

He quoted some line so radical to the Jewish rabbis and it was, "Do unto others what you would have others do to you." Jesus had authority from God to redefine the Laws of God in the O.T. because He was the living fulfillment.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me" John 7:11. Obviously He is either lying, or insane, or correct! It was only after His death and Resurrection His followers recognized the purpose was forgiveness of sins and the furtherance of God's Kingdom. They turned the world upside down because they "laleo" in Greek means "chirped" or "gossiped" the Gospel to the common man! He was both fully God and fully man.

He was more than an example, He is the Mediator between God and man.

You know and everyone else would seem to know that He, God, is someone far off to you because you use quotes and then small g. If you knew He is loving and forgiving you know also He is a just and Holy God. Therefore He cannot tolerate sin in His Presence nor does He diliute by calling it a mistake. We want justice but we

neglect so great a salvation to have a personal relationship with our Creator, Father God, the Intelligent Designer through His way, Jesus Christ. God loves you but you must know God like He must know you when judgment day comes. I'm certainly not against life and helping others to find the cross of Calvry but excuse me we will appeal to His mercy and for countless other reasons I'd rather do it right the first time, God's way. Love you

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast...in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church (to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. Eph. 2:8,9;3:10. It's always good to give the address.

I'm impressed. You wrote "I'd rather do it right the first time". Gee, in my life, I do try to do it right the first time, but I make mistakes anyway. I am thankful that I perceive God as a loving and forgiving God. That is, until I attain the perfection in life that you have.

There is so much more to life than perfection. It really means maturity. It's also, do I know God or don't. Mistakes are jus what the Satan wants you to beliee in. Just raad C.S. Lewis' 'The Screwtape Letters' as it submits what a greater devil may say to a lesser devil about a man's temptations during WWII as he is deceived and seduced into "gaining the world, by calling his sins "mistakes". I'm just a sinner saved by grace. I'm one beggar hungry saying where there's bread I found. It's a relationship.

I feel life is a learning experience until the day you pass over.

Also that Satan gets a bad rap. When did we start blaming another for our actions? Adam blamed Eve, Eve blamed the snake, the snake blamed the apple, the apple blamed the tree. The fact is that Adam HAD FREE WILL. He CHOSE to bite into the apple!

Somewhere in the Bible it says we all have FREE WILL and even God will not take that away from us.

Mistakes to me just means that I am trying to do something and need to continue to get it right for growth.

Maturity - sometimes people forget to be child-like, not childish. To stop to watch or join in with kittens playing, to stop to smell a flower, to take a moment and see the beauty of clouds.

Maturity - have you noticed that some people can get stuck in adolescence and be childish. But then, we only have the right of discernment, only God can judge. Maybe that is just what they are here to learn.

Good Morning to you! It is nice to correspond with you. A hig hug, Aili

< In all things give thanks. We are to praise Him when we fill like it and when we don’t, when we are up and when were down. Knowing that we are put through tribulations for our own good, not so much to learn from our mistakes but to bring us to a level were we lean toward his understanding and trust in Him.

{Angleruby} I feel Jesus came down on Earth as a man, to show all mankind what we can do, our potential.

< THE BIBLE DISAGREES!! He came here for one purpose to fulfill the law, as providing himself as a sacrificial lamb for our sins. What are sins? That’s easy Paul said that sin is transgression of the law so look to the 10 commandments and see what God requires as perfection and know that we can not do it ourselves. There is none righteous no not one. All of our deeds are as filthy rags in the site of God. That is why Jesus came, not to be looked on as a wise teacher from Palestine but Gods Son, God manifested in the flesh paying the debt we could not pay. That is why he came. Scripture repeatedly says t

this over and over and over again. Don’t believe me read the book of Romans, Ephesians, Galatians etc. and you will see one common thread and that God sent his Son. Christ once died for sin the just for the unjust so that he may bring us to God. This scripture does not say that he sent him to show us the right way to live if that was the case that would suggest that we could earn a portion of our salvation, and if that is the case it’s like saying what Christ did on the cross was not good enough and if that was the case then what does it mean when the scripture says that by One sacrifice he has perfected forever those who are SANCTIFIED.

{Angleruby} Many people have also been charged of crimes that they did not commit in this day and age whether in the legal field or just some person accusing another using judgment rather than discernment. We all make mistakes in one way or another.

< We as people do make mistakes, But God is perfect and Holy and does not make mistakes and he said we are to perfect in thought, word and deed and he knowing that we could not accomplish this. God made a provision to fix the relationship with him that is separated by our sin. The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. His blood cleanses us from sin if we obey what he has said.

< THE BIBLE DISAGREES!! The bible clearly states over and over again that Sin is transgression of HIS Law (the 10 commandments) He has said that he knows your heart and knows ever deed done in darkness, He sees everything that is not Holy ever thought every word every deed Nothing will be hid from God, He requires truthfulness in the inward parts that is even your thought life. If you have ever even lusted at some one Jesus said that is Adultery of the heart and God said that no adulterer, no thief, no blasphemer, no idolater will inherit the kingdom of God that all liars will have there part in the lake of Fire. -- Yes that’s harsh, but that’s what the bible says and all scripture must be fulfilled. If God is perfect and Holy like the bible says then He has to punish sin! That is again why God sent Jesus so He could satisfy the just punishment. He took Gods wrath for you and that all that will repent and trust completely in what he did on the Cross will be forgiven there is no other way. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME!!!

{Angleruby} I feel that if you do something wrong to yourself or another, realize what you have done, make amends for the deed, and never do it again, it is no longer a "sin" but a mistake.

< THE BIBLE DISAGREES!! The bible says that if you were able to keep the entire law and just broke it ONE time then to God it is the same as breaking them all. Imagine hanging over a cliff by a 10 link chain and one link broke and it did not mater what link. What would happen?---- you would plunge to y

---- you would plunge to your death and this is what I am saying just being sorry for your so called mistake is not going to repair the chain one it is broken you have to have a net under you because you have broken that chain that net is Jesus you have to trust in him alone or that net is not going to be there. Just being sorry that the chain broke is not going to change the outcome you need something to save you and that something is the punishment and wrath that God has already put upon Jesus in your place and if you will trust in Jesus as your net he will save you from falling to your death!

{Angleruby} My "God" is a loving and forgiving god. I have also learned to love and forgive myself and others.
< The key word you used here is “my god” (I used a little “g” for a reason). Whenever you make a god in you own mind a god that is not of the bible but one you are comfortable with, a god that does not mind small sins or forgive you with out reason, or a god that would is all loving and not holy and just then what your are doing is taking tributes of God you like and forgetting or ignoring the ones you don’t like. Like the tribute of God being completely holy and just and because of His perfect goodness he by nature has to punish sin. If he did not punish sin then it would be like a corrupt judge turning a blind eye to the workings of the mafia and if he did this he would be corrupt and needs to be brought to justice himself, but God is perfect in thought word and deed and must be nature punish sin wherever it is found. From your statement your saying that God is tot

totally forgiving, well were is the line drawn? Is murder wrong should He let murders into heaven. What about rapist? What about adulterers? Where is the line draw? I will tell you what the bible says, that all sin will be punished and unless you have put your trust in the one who took that punishment for you namely Jesus Christ then you will have to pay for your own sin and the bible says Gods eternal place of punishment is Hell. What you are doing here by making that statement is making a god you are comfortable with the bible calls this IDOLITRY It is one of the oldest sins in the book because we all would like to make a god up that will not punish us for our so called mistakes, but this is contrary to scripture on who God is and no Idolaters will inherit the kingdom of God!

{Angleruby} I love life - good times or not - the entire package.—

< Jesus said those who love there life will loose it, but those who hate this life for his sake will save it. The bible also says that if you are a friend of the world then you are an enemy of God. That you are to deny yourself and pick up your cross and follow me (Jesus said) He also said “If the world hates you, you should know that it hated me before it hated you. If you are of the world the world would love you, because the world loves it’s own, but because you are not of this world, but I have chosen you out of this world then the world would hate you.” This world is corrupt and in a fallen state, if we love this world then the bible says we can not love God, that does not mean we cannot enjoy things in this life, but to remember that this is not the world God had intended on for us and if we love it then we love what it is and this world is set against the righteousness of God, if you don’t believe me just watch the news and see the violence in the world, watch prime time TV and see the smut and promiscuous things filling our kids mind and society saying its ok, by just showing it on TV and making it seem natural and common place. Think I am wrong look at the way kids are treating there parents disrespectful and disobedient, you are having strait and homosexual relations openly in lust, kids getting pregnant Outside of marriage, kids shooting up schools in the name of god or because someone else loves God or just to be plain evil period. You love this corrupt evil sin filled world you can have it! I am looking forward to the day that when the Lord returns and the wo

the world will be revived to its sinless state. That will be a perfect world to love, with God as its center as it should be.

{Angleruby} I'm impressed. You wrote "I'd rather do it right the first time". Gee, in my life, I do try to do it right the first time, but I make mistakes anyway.

< That’s not what he is saying he not saying that he is perfect under his own actions, he is stating that it is through Gods mercy and his sacrifice that we are made perfect not because of our own deeds, but what Christ did on our behalf and him getting it right the first time meaning he has trusted in Jesus and what He did so that we are made perfect, because of His sacrifice.

{Angleruby} I am thankful that I perceive God as a loving and forgiving God.

Again I explained this already you are creating god that you are comfortable with and by doing so does not change his true nature. This is idolatry and the bible says most will fall for this sin because it is so easy to make a god that will forgive anything you do.

{Angleruby} That is, until I attain the perfection in life that you have.—

< There is no way to reach perfection in this life, but when Jesus rose on the 3rd day he had been glorified (perfect) and the scripture says that one day after judgment and the world is restored we all will have perfect glorified bodies and after this all that had trusted in the Lord will have eternal life with him and all of those who did not know him will spend eternity in hell.

{Angleruby} I feel life is a learning experience until the day you pass over.

< If you die in your sin without repenting and trusting in Jesus then judgment will await you. The bible says that it is appointed man once to die then after this the judgment. This scripture is talking to those who die in there sins, and to those who are saved by grace the scripture says that when they are absent with the body they will be present with the Lord. The bible also says that there will come a day when many will stand before him and cry out Lord, Lord did we not do wondrous things in your name and he will say depart from me for I NEVER KNEW YOU. He is not talking to people who knew they were sinners, but to people who thought they were saved. So examine yourself against the scripture to see if you are in the faith better now then on the Day of Judgment.

< Jesus said Satan is a liar and the father of it, the god of this world and the prince of the air. The bible also states the devil lies around like a lion waiting for someone to devour. So do we bring on a lot of trouble on our own with disobedience, YES, but to deny that satan wants you to perish and will blind your eyes to the truth and deceiving you with new age religions and the so called feel good gospel is what the bible call being blinded by this world lest the truth of the gospel will shine upon them. Oh and by the way Eve was deceived wit

with the idea she would become like God after eating the fruit (the bible does not state whether it was an apple that’s Hollywood) and the one that deceived her is the one who wants us all to perish with him on the day of judgment and that is satan in the form of a serpent (again the bible does not say it was a snake)

This is another deception the devil uses to divert people from God. Like getting caught up with thing like saving the whales and such. While these are not bad things if they completely consume your attention and ignore the things which God has asked us to do that is the wrong order of affection and there fore a sin as far as the law is concerned “you are to love the Lord your God with all you heart, mind, soul and strength. So much that the bible says that the love you feel toward your family, wife and children should seem like hatred next to the love and devotion you should have for God, if you do not agree with this then you are essentially calling Gods a liar.
