Thank you thank you thank you, Albany,  for rejecting the biased proposal set forth by the Mayor . aww poor bloomie....like a child who dosent get their way he resorts to name calling to show his sourness... HAH!!! I can finally say "the system worked for the people" as it should ! Great move Albany reasssuring to know that good leadership is in play and that some LEADERS dont have their heads up their wallets.

And i love the idea of charging the people that live below 60th the congestion pricing, but i guess a cold day in hell is more likley to happen then local politicans making sound choices for the people that make the city move, progress, and thrive, and i do mean the working class .. yay for practical changes, nay to the fat cat delusions.

GOD!!!!!!!! PLEASE DONT LET MAYOR BLOOMBJERKS CONGESTION PRICING SCAM TAKE EFFECT!!!!!!!!!!  if there is any justice left in this city this bad idea of congestion pricing has got to go... go away....far far away. In a time where the nation is facing a huge  recession, a tremondous drop in the housing market ( foreclosures up 66% in NY alone) and a rising unemployment rate, It dosent surprise me one bit that this outrageous idea of charging the working class a fee for something that has allways been free, comes from on of NY's richest men. Oh Bloomie if you could only walk in the shoes of a less fortunate individual , maby then you could see the evil of your money hungry ways. what good does it do new yorkers to have a city make so much money and spend so little of it on its people? QUALITY OF LIFE PEOPLE. how much is actually spent on improving the quality of life? Anyone? And dont let them fool you into thinking traffic will be any better  or that  idling cars at toll collection intersections cause less polloution ( those buses spew a multitude of toxic fumes and have been linked to rises in percentages of childhood asthma for children in inner citys, GET THOSE BUSES ON A CLEAN FUEL ALTERNATIVE  ALLREADY DAM IT!!! THEY DO EXIST).

AND FOR SHAME ON NEWS NETWORKS for not showing the opposing side to this scam just because the news shows bloomie stating over and over again that its a good idea and the majority of new yorkers back the plan does NOT make it fact/true, polls like satistics and research studies are only as good a the company  that pays to have the polls and or research done.

My heart goes out to the NJ travelers that not only have to pay  an increase at tolls, but if this plan goes into affect it is going to be an additional "shaft"  to wallet for our neighbors.

If anything the mayor should take  the term "congestion pricing plan"  and change it to the "get more money for NY...plan" at least its not beating around the bush about the objective of said (bs)plan

P.S. Who else has interest in this plan ? Politicans, Priviate Contractors?  You know the saying one hand butters the next .

Anyone else think the mayors ideas on congestion pricing are yet another fancy way for the city to say : "give me more money for nothing"  first off most people go to the city because they have to work, school, ect..  charging them for it in no way will reduce the influx of traffic to the city nor reduce the amount of pollution given out by cars .

1.  The areas parking and early morning traffic out side of the zone will be overcrowed due to people trying to avoid paying ( what areas are these?and who is affected?)

2. When in the history of tolls, has their addition sped up traffic? last i checked you have to stop ( or slow to a crawl ez pass) to pay, seems kinda stupid to think otherwise.

3. Anyone happen to know how much more car exaust is spewed out of 6 millon cars idleing at toll plazas ( ever look at GWBs toll plaza walls or any toll plaza walls!).

4. Why arent the citys busses on a clean fuel source? They seem to be the biggest offenders ( I heard something about a budget surplus? ...MTA why i oughtta!).

Look.... mass transit is still a very economical and efficent means of transportation and will allway be utilized its cheap and beats looking for parking in nyc, but this proposal for having to pay to drive into nyc is nuts. just a bad idea it makes big promises before any real "non biased or agenda driven" studies or research has been made. because once something like this is in place its never going to go away .NYC just gets greedier, once the city has a taste of blood ...er i mean profits..,generated from these tolls that will most definitely insure their place among nyc's most annoying aspects of "getting around".

NYC's stand on the leeching of money off the backs of the working class is one of the biggest scams in the US. $65 tickets $50 surcharges including no available parking anywhere south of 66th and north of 30th for tons of spaces that are not even used for anything but collecting revenue.and dont forget no standing 6am to 8pm or whatever seems peachyest, or alt side street parking, because those street cleaners really clean up the streets well. And if you get a ticket have fun wasting your time trying to fight it like anything can be proven, it your word against the dept of finance. And those scanners the meter maids tote around real hard job being a jerk, i have seen and had them scan cars with people still sitting in them! And Not a word they jump into there city funded cars and away they go! Real CPR. are you kidding me no where else in the states would they get away with that kind of garbage it is distgusting the way we let the rich decide whats the right amount of money to pay considering most of them dont even drive, whens the last time bloomie drove himself anywhere or any higher up politician that ends up creating all these great ideas at your expense.

And congestion pricing plan gimme a break,it should be congestion pricing SCAM, i thought the original ideas behind tolls was to pay off the construction and up keep of said bridge or tunnel, not to support the pockets of people who manage to misappropreate billons of dollars whos responsible? I  got an idea why doesn't NYC charge a fee for rental of air space, think about it the city could make a fourtune! everyone breathes right why not charge them for it and we could give city employees free breathing passes! and issue tickets for spaces that are "no breathing zones" even if there was no reason for being a no breathing zone that way the city could bank even more on a free for all ticket blitz! On breathing! How bout a fat cat tax, nobody wants to EARN there money anymore thyey just think everything should be handed to them including the city, this trend of pay all for nothing in return has got to end. People speak out, MTA's rasing prices every 2 years misplacing billons of dollars in revunue whos overseeing all this anyone?outside the people that profit off of creative verbal wrangling its almost like if you can say it you can charge a fee for it. Its pretty lame.:(
