Freedom isn't free........someone has to pay!    For that reason, remember it is important to look past the horse & pony show the political candidates are putting on for us, and get very serious about our country's future!     Don't let any candidate blind you with cheap tricks to divert your attention!

"This is not a popularity contest!     It is Our Own Children's Blood at Stake!!!"

Thank you Jay! It's like a media circus! We need to stay focused on what is real.

What a striking picture to WAKE US UP. Boy-O-Boy are you ever on the money. It is so easy to get caught up with all the "shows" they are putting on for us. To cloud the issues, to lead us down another path thank you for reminding us to look deep inside to see the real issues...

"Our Children's Blood"
Red, red blood, running warm on the cold, hard ground, a wonderful life gone from this world.

Oh how it pains the soft arms that held him, while the tears flow every so freely and fiercely, oh how unGodly and this fight is for God....

Why, does it hurt so bad, is it to fill the pockets of the horrid fame seeking monsters....to puff the chests of the evil men in charge of nations so poor their own people die without giving their lives for their god....

Our children die, here and on their ground, our children are beaten and starved and others sent over there...

Our elderly live in crates under bridges and in tunnels, they die alone...

Our men come home to nothing, no medical back-up, no jobs, no recognition, and they die slowly, would it have been better to die on their ground ---- so that we, the masses, would know what they gave for us?

I can hear my own red, red, blood, warm and moving within me, taunting me, anger rising, getting warmer and it feels - ugly.

How do the parents of our soldiers in Iraq sleep at night? It must be really stressful getting through each day for them.

They really do not sleep. If you happen to have children you know, you never do really sleep with them in the house. There is always something to worry about.

Unfortunately, under the circus tent is the horse and pony but the clowns make the decisions. War is a necessary evil, so the clown that makes the decision to go to war should really take into consideration that the lives of our soldiers are not the only sacrifice but the families and children they leave behind. Freedom isn't free; the cost is sky high, so when we send our children, our loved ones, our greatest resources, our soldier's to fight for someone else's freedom, THEY BETTER START PULLING THEIR OWN WEIGHT, if not, it's time to bring our boy's and girl's home.

Such a great blog.

Our children ... I wonder what the parents of our politicians feel about THEIR children and the way they raised them.

Remember, YOUR CHILD may become a politician!

Have you raised your child with values, boundaries, respect, and caring?

That is the way I see to insure THEIR future and to have the knowledge of how to make things better by parents now being a living example of how to do that. These current politicians will not be around forever.

Your children ARE the future of this country and can make changes.

Thanks..... It's too bad that the same politicians whose decisions make or break our children's future, will never know our children personally, unless they become a statistic.
That's why I hope our people can see past the smoke & mirrors, and question the candadate's game plan before voting.

I would like to see politicians made accountable to keep the promises they make. Just like in any other job that they are evaluated and their job performance made public every so often.

Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

They get away with all this because we don't really do anything about them.

You are so right Aila!
If these politicians were forced to make their word as good as gold, that would change everything. Good point!
In the movie Sicko, it was said that the French goverment is afraid of it's people, because thousands get together and protest the slightest little thing. The French people are their government's bosses!
Where there are no bosses, there will be corruption.

I believe every great person, at some time, was encouraged by someone who had the ability to see their hidden talents, and cared enough to lead them to see it too. Without this caring person in their past, we may have never known many people that we admire today. "FLATTER ME, AND I MAY NOT BELIEVE YOU. CRITICIZE ME, AND I MAY NOT LIKE YOU.
