I'm a Sci Fi Junkie and a Twilight Zone Marathon New Years Eve was right up my alley..... One episide caught my attention though..... It was a great political statement made in the past that applies more today than ever..... The obsolete man was such a great screen write way before it's time..... Loved this and I think it has some truth to it...........LOL

Is anybody safe from the repo man.......?????

If it's an option I will spend my money in the USA

Above is a picture of one of two trucks we painted at the St. Louis North assembly plant in Fenton......On the underbody it has the signatures of almost everybody that worked at the plant....... One was raffled off and the proceeds were donated to the victims of 911..... The other was used in parades and other events.....This is a picture of me when I worked in paint repair .....I was repairing a scratch on the box when this photo was taken... Many people hate auto workers..... They think we are dumb and lazy and do not deserve the money that we make..... With todays cost of living everybody deserves a much better paying job than they have now....... But the problem is that nobody will buy American and our legislators have slowly let all of our good jobs slip right out of this country...... Our farms are drying up for farmers cannot afford to grow food and compete with the imported fruit and vegtables....... Schools are unable to properly fund their curriculum resulting in layoffs..... Roads and bridges are deterioating....... There are as many unemployed construction workers as there are that have employment....... There are those that are graduatng with a Masters degree that can't find a job........ We are in a recession and if we don't change the direction we could slip into a depression....... My question is simple....

Where are your kids going to work.....??

Are they after Lori Drew or recognition....??

 

Milestone cases make great for the advancement of the careers of many..... Lawyers and Judges get a lot of attention and name recognition to advance in their fields..... This case being a first of it's kind has become a feeding frenzy for the media and the who's who wannabe's in the law field..... With all the eyes turned the only moves made by anyone will be those that will make them look the best in the eyes of others..... At this point it is any body's call what will happen..... My prediction is it will be allowed an appeal so there can be another round of this high profile grandstanding......

Shouldn't Politics be left out of the courts...??

Proposition A won't benefit losers.....!!

The commercials on the tube make Prop A sound like it's gonna solve the problems of the cash strapped schools........ What this bill boils down to is they are wanting people to be able to lose more money...... Here is an portion of the bill as written and you can view the entire bill at the link below........

I am so sick of this election already..... With the country in a financial crisis and war looming on our horizon in several continents it is such a hard decision as who can run this country..... I have reservations about every one of the candidates..... Not so much as to their political views because everybody that has ever been elected to office has lied on the way to get there..... Therefore we don't really know what their policies are until after we elect them..... But if you consider the person behind these names there are a lot of things to ponder.....

Obama who I am predicting to be the winner reminds me of the impatient little boy who can't wait for anything.... He will try to rush results  creating a loose cannon and will make as many mistakes as Dubya has in the last eight years..... He has many enemies that want to see him fail, plus there are those that will want to harm him from this country and abroad.... In some ways he is like the Kennedys.....

Biden would probably make the best president out of the four..... He is an ex jock that is nice and popular with everybody..... He would make a great diplomatic president but he is not without  a few skeletons of his own....... http://www.realchange.org/biden.htm ....

McCain would be a good president and I believe his intentions are honorable..... But a lot of his policies would be met with  challenge and would be a shadowed by the mess that Dubya has made........ He is too old to be a Maverick and the stress of being in office at his age will take a great toll on his health......

Palin has not the qualifications nor the fortitude to be our president at this time..... And when electing someone for vice president you always have to consider the possibility of her being our president...... What would her orders be as commander in chief if war was declared.......
