Expect more unsettled weather Friday night, as more widely scattered showers and storms are possible across the region.
The
good news is that the low and weak cold front that brought us storms
Friday afternoon is moving out of the area, just in time for the
weekend (or most of it). The overnight low in Midtown will be fairly
mild: 67 and slightly cooler in the suburbs.
An area of high
pressure will bring lots of sunshine into the tristate area by Saturday
afternoon, but there will still be a chance for rain & storms
mainly early in the day.
Daytime highs Saturday will be in
the low to middle 80s. As high pressure really takes hold on Sunday
there will be lots of sunshine and dry weather will last through the
day. Daytime highs will be in the mid 80s. The next chance for rain
should hold off until Tuesday so enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!

our area on Sunday. There will be more clouds than sun, with showers
and thunderstorms across the area mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Daytime highs will be in the mid 80s, only slightly cool than Saturday
because of the increase in cloud cover. More showers and storms will
continue into Monday and Tuesday with drier weather returning by
Wednesday.
